Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great service and best pillows ever Our expectations were met again. The room was clean, the bed and pillows very comfy. The only glitch we had was the shower door was extremely difficult to open. It felt as if it was off the track, which it wasn't. We reported it. They were appreciative of being told that there was a problem. Because we were checking out at the time, we don't know if it was fixed timely. April 15, 2016

I love the cleanliness of the room. This hotel also offers an the opportunity to unwind and relax during the reception hour. The location adds a benefit for me to get on Interstate 70 or Interstate 35 within 5 minutes. However it should be noted, what I love most of all is the friendliness of the staff there. They are not only friendly but also accommodating to meet not only my needs but all of their guests. I would like to give a special praise to Kay, Val and Daisy. They are extremely good at what they do and are definitely customer service focused. Excellent customer services seems to come natural to them. They make their guests feel like we are the top priority for them! This is a hotel that aims to please. Based on my experiences at the Salina HIE, I usually always make reservations to stay at HIE hotels throughout the state of Kansas and the country. (Note: The only exception is the Hays, KS HIE) Thanks again Salina HIE staff. Your customer service and friendliness does not go unnoticed. April 13, 2016

We keep coming back to this property because it is always consistent in it's high quality of service, cleanliness, friendly staff and a very comfortable and welcoming environment. This place exemplifies mid-western hospitality. Keep doing what you're doing and we will keep coming back every time we pass through Salina. The best "improvement" you can make is to not "relax" and rest on your current great service. Y'all have established a high level of customer service - do not allow even a minor step back - it will be noticed. Keep doing what you're doing at a higher level. (translated keep motivated staff that "love" what they are doing in the face of your guests. Your staff, your mid-western hospitality, along with a up to date property are your biggest assets.
