This hotel is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The shuttle bus to the airport was right on time and very helpful. I plan on using this hotel again.

Very nice and helpful staff.
Rooms are appropriately sized with refrigerator and microwave.
The breakfast offered is well balanced with something for everyone.

The staff and facility were nice but my room had a lumpy mattress and a toilet that did not flush properly.

Used this Holiday Inn Express for jumping off to China. Also, used for coming back home. Great place to relax and will use again.

My stay was the result of a Airline Cancellation and Rebooking for a next-day flight. Holiday Inn Express provided a clean, comfortable room on short notice with no reservation. I enjoyed the full breakfast, and the friendly staff provided helpful suggestions for local travel and sightseeing. Since my flight check-in was well after even the late checkout time they provided safe locked storage for my luggage and arranged shuttle service at the proper time. Overall Holiday Inn Express helped me enjoy my stay in SLC even though it was not planned.

The hotel accommodations were excellent. We stayed at the Holiday Inn express - Salt lake airport east. Unfortunately, we would not stay at the particular location again. We nearly missed our fight due to the incompetency of the express shuttle company that this particular holiday inn express uses. We were scheduled for a 5:15 am shuttle to the airport. We were in the lobby at 5 am. At 5:15 am, we asked the front desk where the shuttle was. She told us they have a 15 min window, which was not relayed to us the night before. So, we waited until 5:30 am and still no shuttle. We asked the front desk if she could call and see what time to expect the shuttle. She finally called and checked and the shuttle company said it would be an additional 10 min. At 5:45, we asked the front desk if we should call cab?! By this time, we were nervous. The Express shuttle arrived about two minutes later.
We load up into the shuttle with one other customer. My family of four was scheduled for 5:15 and the front desk told us that we were the only and first group scheduled. I believe the other passenger on the shuttle was a scheduled for a 5:45 am pickup and the company was trying to consolidate their trips. This was further proves when we continued to the other Holday Inn owned hotel in the vicinity to pick up one more customer. I could not believe it.
the driver appeared to be speeding and driving recklessly while using his cell phone, driving us to the airport. He said we were supposed to received a voucher from the Holiday Inn express front desk; I assume for a late pickup, but we never received said voucher.
