Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfort, quality and cleanliness I came to Holiday Inn Express and Suites in San Angelo when a previously booked hotel was dirty and I didn't want to stay. I was welcomed with warm staff and a very comfortable room that was clean and fresh with all the amenities needed to enjoy a place away from home. The breakfast was awesome with more options than I have ever had at a free breakfast. February 26, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quick One Night Stay Our stay was a quick one nighter on our way back to Houston from West Texas.. The hotel was well lit on the outside and pretty easy to get to. It was close to some very nice restaurants as well. The front desk clerk was very helpful and check -in was quick and easy. Having recently become a rewards member looked like it was beginning to pay off when I opened the door to see a spacious and clean room with a couch and table. The only thing that seemed to not fit in with all the "nice-ness" was the smell when you opened the door to go in. The odor was obviously either a cleaning solution, or air spray. It was way too "sweet" smelling and put a damper on an otherwise perfect stay. The bed was comfortable and we had no problem falling asleep. Should we ever find a need to stay in San Angelo, Holiday Inn Express will be our choice. Need to rack up our Reward points!! February 20, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor value for the buck The room rates are far too high for the quality of the room and some of the staff. The desk chair did not raise or lower and there was a fecal stain on the seat. There is not heater or vent in the bathroom. There is only one elevator.
