Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and Convienant The only disappointments were the gym, pillows, and the bed. The gym consisted of two treadmills and an elliptical. There were two sets of pillows, one set labeld "soft," and the other labeld "firm." I do not believe there was a difference. The mattress was too firm for my liking, and did not feel very thick; not a good combination for sleeping through the night. With that said, my overall experience was excellent. The staff was friendly, clean rooms, great breakfast and convienant location. March 25, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Overall experience Have stayed at HI Express in many cities but this one was by far the worst. Had to move to another room due to the smell of urine in the bathroom. Surely this is an out of date facility because of the size of the room, the low sinks in the bathroom, no closet and full size beds. Although the staff was very accommodating, I will not stay at this location again. This place definitely needs a makeover. March 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Well Managed Hotel This hotel is very close to SA Airport. When I checked in the GM Aaron was leaving and helped the counter employee with my check in. The hotel is not new, but facility is clean. I was in room 811 next to the elevator shaft. The noise from the woke me up. The alarm clock and TV times were not set, something a business travel cares about. The hotel should make this part of the room check. The real reason for this review was that I came to SA for an interview. In the morning I asked the front counter if they might have some hairspray, which I had run out of. The counter employee apologized and explained they did not, offering me her own hair gel. I declined, but later the same GM Aaron came to me at breakfast and told me that he was going to a nearby hotel to get some hairspray, which he brought to me in a few minutes. This was customer service going above and beyond. I certainly hope the ownership appreciates that they have a high caliber GM in Aaron. It really made the difference for me and I got a job offer as well. March 21, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service Yes, the hotel is dated and is scheduled for renovations. However, their customer service is superb! The front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful. The woman (I wish I could remember her name) suggested we return our rental car early and offered the shuttle service. This action not only saved us money but saved us time the next morning when we flew home. Thank you! March 18, 2015
