Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Our Stay The overall stay was excellent, the hotel was clean, the staff polite and friendly. We were greeted warmly and by name. The room was nice and clean with furniture that was in good shape. The bed was hard, which made it hard to sleep with a messed up back, however, the pillows were very soft. The bathroom was clean, however, when I went to move the shower head to wash, the whole shower head moved indicating that the 90 degree ell that was used was either the wrong one or not secured to a backing board. The vent in the bathroom is an open ended vent that connects to a general duct work that does not pull the moisture out of the bathroom and after two showers, the room window had to be opened in order to let the moisture out of the room. The breakfast was good and the coffee was hot and fresh. October 20, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great bargain The property is well maintained, the staff is very accommodating, and the rooms are comfortable and quiet. If you are flying out of SA Int'l you are allowed to leave your car in the garage for a specified length of time at no additional charge, and they will take you to your terminal via shuttle. If they are not too busy and/or you are flexible time-wise they will also take you to and pick you up from nearby restaurants. This past trip we had an early flight and asked for a 4:30 AM shuttle pick-up. We pulled away from the hotel at 4:30 sharp. We've stayed here 6-7 times over the years and always been satisfied. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by room was very clean and comfortable. I made the reservation by phone. The person that I was speaking with was EXTREMELY difficult to understand. I almost hung up the phone and called a different hotel chain. However, my stay at the hotel was excellent. I used to be a mystery shopper and I have evaluated hotels in the past and my stay at this holiday inn express would receive an excellent evaluation. October 10, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Location I was traveling to San Antonio to work on my wedding plans. The location was great, but the beds were not. The beds were small and hard. The only other down side was the room we were in did not have a refrigerator or microwave which made our three day stay a challenge. October 2, 2014
