Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Walking distance to Alamodome! This hotel was top notch all the way. My family enjoyed it as well. The bed was wonderful. The room was clean and we never ever heard anyone else while we were in our room. Great location. The staff was very attentive. The breakfast was awesome too. April 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Overall great experience We were upgraded to larger rooms which really made our stay more comfortable as we had our grand children with us. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The desk clerk in the evening was extremely helpful to another gentleman who had walked into the hotel by mistake. He was experiencing back problems and was in great pain and she went out of her way to find the hotel where he was staying and arrange transportation for him. The pool was a bit cold but the hot tub was nice. The shuttle service was excellent and the drivers were very friendly and accommodating. We wished we had given ourselves more time so we could have stayed longer April 21, 2015

The staff was so nice and professional. The shuttle service to Riverwalk is awesome, driver was very courteous. Will definitely stay here again. April 15, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Overall great stay Our room did face a major traffic artery and made it difficult to sleep with traffic going by. Also there was no sign at street level (unless I missed it) indicating this was the hotel. On the plus side the room was more than adequate and when our stay was unexpectedly cut short the hotel did not charge us for the additional night we were scheduled to stay. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great service from staff Our train was late coming into the station, the shuttle bus service was to stop at 10:30, our train came in about 10:45. The shuttle bus driver was still there and did come to pick us up at the station, this saving us from walking somewhere we had never been before in a strange town or from getting a cab to take us the short distance we needed to go. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad service but good location I had multiple issues when booking my room. The AM desk clerk is extremely rude and it was so bad that I had to call and speak to the general manager who assured me everything would be taken care of. Well.. That was not the case. I will say that he did get me a nice room but that was about it. The next day for breakfast it was 9am and the attendant stop refreshing the food but yet the breakfast isn't over till 930am. The hotel was full of people and there was minimal breakfast left. I thought during Checkin it would be a pleasant experience but the older lady working seemed to not care about the guest. She leans against the counter on her cell phone and doesn't care. The morning of checkout the same lady who I had an issue with regarding my reservation was working with the same nasty attitude that gives this hotel a bad reputation. The only two things and i mean only two things nice about this hotel is the location and the comfortable beds. The rest is nothing great and no one seems to care at this hotel. Also, I had toask for coffee and was looked at like I was stupid because I drink more than one cup of regular during the day and housekeeping only puts one packet which makes only one cup in the room.
