Arrived at hotel, told they over booked and my reservation was canceled. San Antonio TX room sold out at all other hotels I called. Another guest unhappy-canceled told front desk give him our room. 2 hours later got a room next to the highway-to noisy to sleep. I was not notified about the cancelation, prior to a four hour drive. Book thru IHG 800, Room discounted, wow. Did not receive a snack or the 500 bonus points offered at all other properties.

The "suite" is not really a suite, no separation of living area and beds other than a half wall. Noise issue. The price was a lot as well. My biggest pet peeve was not being allowed to book by calling the hotel directly. And when i was 'sent' to reservations, they screwed up the rate, then when i called hotel, who sent me back to them, they could not fix it. My next call was to 'customer care', a case was created and they said they had to talk to the manager who only worked 4 days a week (really???). No one ever contacted me, manager/reservations/cust care. I called cust care again 4 days later and they just said 'sorry', someone should have called me. i called hotel again and this time someone 'in charge' (not manager, maybe IHG rep?) put a note on my reservation that rate could indeed be refundable (the error made by reservations). Upon arrival the front desk staff was also in a harried state each time I spoke to them. The wifi was down and finally after two calls to front desk was reset. It was just a time consuming effort for an overly priced adequate (bathroom door dirty) room for one night.

Called by name before I even checked in. Always treated with the upmost RESPECT. This is the only place I will stay while in S.A.

The hotel is very nice, staff was excellent, very clean rooms and breakfast was extremely good. My only complaint is that the free Wi-Fi did not work properly...we kept getting booted off. I would definitely recommend and I would stay again!!

I had checked in for a week for a work training. I was put in one room on the first floor facing the freeway. The bathroom and shower were not very clean. The noise level was so bad I requested to change rooms the next morning.
Once I moved to the second floor, I was happy. The room was very clean and the noise level was silent.
The staff were able to help me with my concerns.
