Upon arrival in the room we found the A/C was not on and the room was hot. Not a fun experience after a day in SA. Called the front desk and received immediate assistance so customer service was great. The hotel is older and it shows in some areas. The bathroom wallpaper was peeling in one area and there was a cockroach visiting us in there throughout our stay. Of course, lights on and it ran. Also, the bathroom light fixture was filled with dead bugs. Needs to be cleaned. Other than that, I'd give this hotel another try due to the quick customer service and the location. I do recommend that staff keep the A/C on in the rooms for arriving guests and they spray for bugs.

This hotel was both comfortable and relaxing, as well as having complete customer service. The staff here really tries to meet your needs and preferences. From the start of my stay they did everything they could to help. Firstly, when i checked in i got the wrong room, which was already somebody's room. The staff immediately stepped into action and quickly fixed the issue. They got me into a new, very nice room and also made the first night free of charge. I also went down to do some laundry the last night of my stay and they didn't have enough quarters for the washer and dryer, so they let me use the larger hotel dryer, free of charge, and when i forgot that i hadn't brought laundry detergent i went to the front desk to buy some and they gave it to me free of charge because of the dryer situation. Also as i was waiting i was given a beverage and the staff made sure i was completely comfortable. When my clothes finished drying the manager offered the folding table for me to use to fold my clothes and even brought me my suitcase which was in the lobby sitting area. Every problem that arose this staff/manager completely found a solution, quickly and effectively. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

I had a reservation for two rooms that would sleep up to five people. I was not given the correct rooms. Rooms were also very dirty and not clean.

We enjoyed our stay at this tidy and well-maintained hotel. The complimentary breakfast options were plentiful and varied by day and the breakfast area was kept clean. We used the swimming pool and fitness center and found both of them to be clean and in good working order.

I was very disappointed for my first stay at a Holiday Inn Express. Room wasn't ready until after 3:30 p.m. we had to wait even though my reservation was made through a room block and several weeks in advance. The room I had was disappointing - no fridge or microwave (maybe typical of Express hotel?), hair dryer didn't work, wall paper was peeling off in the bathroom and some mold apparent. The ice maker on the first floor didn't work. Breakfast was great though!
