Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by San Antonio adventure We love San Antonio, and typically stay toward the center of town, for convenience and exploration of the city and its historical heritage. The Mexican influence is a true treasure. We decided to venture further out, and made a reservation at the location as noted in this critique. We found the hotel to be convenient via highway 281, and I-35. It sits isolated from the busy streets and highways, which gives the impression of a quiet neighborhood. Many restaurants are close by, and it is convenient to all the major highways. It has changed our minds about location value and convenience, when it comes to our next visit to San Antonio. The highlight of our trip was attending the Mariachi Mass at san Fernando Cathedral October 29, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The worst experience ever We got to the hotel at 11:00pm after spending the evening at my Dad's rosary. We of course were very tired. Of course, the manager has to give us so much trouble at checking in. The reservation was under my name with my husband listed as an additional guest. She required two different forms of ID from him to check in. Then was not satisfied with frustrating us enough that she had to request to see my ID to confirm the reservation. I am (no longer) a loyal Holiday Inn customer. I have never been treated so badly trying to check in to a hotel. Then we go to our room and there are bugs in it. Honestly could the day have been any worse. October 29, 2015
