The first night of our stay was a good experience. The lady that checked us in that night was VERY kind and helpful. She recommended the Big Win promotion and was great about answering our questions. We checked out the following day because we had planned to stay at a special little Bed and Breakfast. I thought he called in our B&B reservation and he thought I had. So, by 10 pm, we had no room booked. I reserved a room through my mobile device at this same hotel. Our room was supposed to be two beds. When we checked in and reached our room (tired from a long, hot day) we were assigned one king bed. The lady at the desk reassigned us to a two bed room. I realize this is not that much of a big deal. We were very tired at this point and it was a little frustrating loading all of our gear and getting up to the third story to find the wrong room. We settled into the correct room and I placed some of our cooler items in the mini fridge. The fridge still contained items from the previous guests. The items were shoved way in the back and not easy to see from a standing position. I then used the restroom sink to wash my hands and face. There were old dry water spots around the sink. Not a major thing either. However, I felt slightly less comfortable in this room than the first night or at other Holiday Inns.

We formerly stayed exclusively at Holiday Inns, but changed over time. We have just become familiar with Holiday Inn Express, and have enjoyed two recent stays. The rooms are spacious and clean, and have refrigerators & microwaves. the breakfast is very good. Check-in staff very friendly and helpful.
We will be a regular customer.

Es el hotel con el peor trato en el que yo he estado, las personas de recepción siempre estan malhumoradas. Tiene buenas instalaciones, pero mal servicio de limpieza.
En referencia al desayunador no tienen variedad de frutas y de yoguhrt solo un sabor, no manejan productos bajos en grasa o ligeros en azucares.

The stay and service was good. The staff was nice and helpful. The room was very clean and relaxing. Was able to sleep well through the night and breakfast was excellent. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

My sisters and I stayed 2 nights and it was a great stay! The beds were very comfortable. The only problem we had the 1st night was a slow drain in tub, it was taken care of as soon as we told the front desk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was hot and the lady that was replenishing everything was very nice and attentive. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Car was broken into in the parking lot where the only access is by the front door. When I reported it to the front desk they said there are no camera coverage of the parking lot and so there was nothing that could be done. I have stayed at this particular hotel many times and was very disappointed with the lack of concern for my loss. Priority Club identifies this as my favorite hotel. I guess it is time to find a new location.

Excellent as always. Comfortable, everything worked.
Two problems, there were apparently 3 different TV services, so the channel guide did not match what was actually on. And it took between 8-10 minutes each day to get hot water.

To start I was not recognized as a priority member when I checked in. The room had double beds instead of Queen Beds that was a minus. Cleaning of the room the first day wasn’t good but they did do better the second day. The pool the first day was yellow. The second day was better but had too much chorine in it. The faucet in the bathroom dripped all the time and didn’t drain very well. I reported it they said it would be Monday before they could fix it and didn’t have another room for me to go to.
This hotel will be ok if you check in and don’t ask for anything.
Just not a friendly Atmosphere.

I am a Priority Club member with Elite Status, I was flattered on the attention I was given at this property, hotel is maintained with an utmost care and staff made sure it does....if anyone is running to get a very nice overnight or just a week on this hotel...u are welcomed to relax in great quantities.....thanks and keep up the good work...IHG

I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express locations over the years and this one has kept up the great service and conditions that I have grown to expect every time I stay. Staff was extremely professional and friendly and the room was very well maintained. Thanks for the great stay.

The hotel is modern with wonderful, courteous staff. With all the new highway construction, if coming south on 281, or west on 1604 , make sure to stay on the 281 South service road. Much easier to access the hotel that way.
Rooms were great and comfy. Great choice for travelers.

the first two days, the cleaning of my room went only 50%, and bad cleaning. I do not know if this was because I was paying with points instead of money. Very bad experience to be a Holiday inn in my vacation.

We always stay at this hotel when in San Antonio. It is a little far from the convention center, but well worth the drive! The staff is excellent, our room is always ready and very nice, and the breakfast is wonderful. There are lots of choices and the quantity is very good..
I need a room with a kind bed which is handicap accessible. We have found one at this hotel. Therefore, we call the hotel directly to make our reservation and are able to reserve the exact same room each time! It is wonderful to know that no matter what time we check in, our room will be ready and have the necessities which I need.
I would highly recommend this hotel and their staff for your next visit!

When I checked in it was late. After getting work done and finally getting around to taking a shower the shower head was leaking so bad it would have flooded the floor. I called down and they said they would have someone in the morning fix it which they did. But I was unable to take a shower the first night. No one offered anything to me for compensation. No free night. Nothing. I stay in HI properties every week. I have stayed here before. Just not a good stay. The shower floor was also dirty. Any other stay I have made here was nice. Not like me to complain but surprised that no one said anything to a Elite member with over 300,000 HI points.

I had the pleasure of staying at a Holiday Inn Express 4 years ago while away on business and I'm still impressed at the comfort, cleanliness and great staff today. The breakfast is pretty awesome as well with enough choices to satisfy any appetite. My stay this time was for 3 days and I enjoyed them all.
Looking forward to my next stay!

The front desk staff tell guests they can have late check-outs but end up calling you at 11:30am to tell you that you need to be get out by noon. I talked to the hotels GM and was offered a 10% discount for the inconvenience and I told Versha that wasn't good enough. Versha then asked me if I wanted a free night in a sarcastic tone and I said yes and Versha laughed and said that wasn't going to happen. I think this hotels management needs to go back to Management 101 and Customer Service 101. Don't lie to your guests and wake them up with a rude awakening phone call to get out of the hotel.

We enjoyed the space in the family room. There was a sleeper sofa and full sized refrigerator. The room and staff were nice. The location was a bit out of town. The one negative thing was the pool. It was close to the interstate and very small.

This is the second time staying at this Holiday Inn Express and I have to say I was not very happy with the stay. From the time of check in the front desk staff was not helpful at all. They were a bit rude and seemed very annoyed when a question was asked, I just felt like a welcome was not given. On my last night of staying I was wanting to stay another night so as the front desk if that was possible. I understand that they were booked for the next night but the answer I was given was again very rude and was quickly told No I would think that they could have been a lot more helpful then what they were. I ended up getting another room some where else and upon arrival was greeted very nicely and was told all the ammenities the place had to offer. I don't think I will be returning to this Holiday Inn Express in the future. I will say in regards to the rooms they are very nice and the cleanliness is on key. Thank you for that.

When I called to make reservations was told a different price when I checked in . The room was very musky smelling like it hadn't been cleaned. After coming from our outing after midnight there was no where to park, therefore had to park in the culdesac which is outside of the hotel with no lighting. The tub did not drain therefore causing the water to come just above the ankles when you take a shower. The pool and the hot tub was not clean. Last but not least, when I checked in I requested late check-out which was to be 2:00 p.m. and when it come for that day to check out Rebecca called me @11:30 A.M. to remind me that check-out time was at 11:00 A.M.,and I told her that I was aware of that and that I had requested a late check-out at check-in. She treated me like I was not telling her the truth.

We needed a reasonable place close to the LDS temple and couldn't have been more pleased. We were received in a very friendly manner, directed to a spacious room and found it to be very clean. The breakfast was good.

Site does not offer Priority Platinum guest any amenities like water or snack unless you want to pay 2.00 for a small bottle of water. When I asked if they serve cookies they said they do not do that either. When I asked what they did offer upper level members I was told "A comfortable bed and a breakfast" and that was it. Person was not rude just to "Matter of Fact" Only one business center computer worked, but no sound.

My stay was outstanding. The staff was friendly and most helpful. The facility was beautiful, well maintained and well maincured. The housekeeping staff is to be commended for taking such good care of my room throughout my visit. The breakfast bar was excellent; fresh fruits and pastries were provided every day. This visit made this Holiday Inn Express the place to stay for me on my visits to the San Antonio area. Again, Thanks to all who make this place #1 in my book.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. We had a flight out the next day and the hotel was about 10 minutes away from the airport. Our room was modern, clean and nice. We had a king size bed with a sofa bed and there was ample space in the room for two adults and 2 children. It felt spacious, not crowded. Our kids, two under the age of six, slept in the sofa bed and were comfortable. Breakfast was good and we had scrambled eggs, ham, waffles, cereal and bananas. There was coffee, milk and orange juice (maybe apple as well). We had breakfast very early and I was surprised to see a lot of business people in the breakfast room so early (right around 6:30am). We had a great experience. The room exceeded our expectations, the room price included a good breakfast and the hotel was close to the airport.

I have stayed at this HIE twice before. This time was the worst, Tub wouldn't drain. Food for breakfast was cold. Ac didn't work.

Staff was very helpful and respectful although I was a difficult guest. Travel is very unnerving in an unfamiliar area and good travel industry staff should be aware and helpful which they accomplished.

I have been on a contract that takes me all over South Texas for the last 6 months. This hotel has been my home base for most of that time and the service has been fabulous! Ashley is a God Send and a excellent example of superior customer service. She has waited after her shift has ended to make sure I have been taken care of properly. She has made it her business to take care the customers and we have discussed it amongst the other customers. I will definetly keep coming back!
