Good place to stay, very close to the beaches. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. the only minor problem we experienced was the street noise but it is not a real problem. we enjoyed our stay.

Great hotel. I like to stay at a bunch of different hotels on a trip. This one was just as nice...if not nicer than ones we spent a $100+ more on.

Recently renovated rooms were great. Got the high floor room as requested. Clean rooms. Clean property overall. That's what I expect and received and loved the experience.
Stayed 1 night while attending a concert. Able to walk down the street to the concert at the Valley View center. Only about 1/2 mile.
Highly recommend this hotel!

Staff excellent! Rooms and bathroom are very good. Location was excellent with restaurants and plenty of stores close by (walking distance). The I8 freeway is literally a right turn away that leads to the I5. You are no more than 5-10 min from the Gas Lamp, Balboa Park, Zoo, and Sea World is 2 min away. Parking is tight but very available and the pool is heated with a Jacuzzi to relax as well.

I travel every week for business, this hotel stay was for pleasure. Hands down the best and friendliest staff I have come across! I stay at IHG properties almost every week and the staff at the San Diego Holoday Inn was the nicest, friendliest, and most professional I have ever encountered. I would go out of my way to stay at this propery again.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and both times our experiences have been wonderful!! The hotel is very clean offering a lot of amenities. The staff is very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was wonderful every morning, offering a selection of hot food items that were very tasty!! It is very family friendly and is just minutes away from Sea World. We will definitely continue to stay here in the future when we travel to San Diego again.

Our first night was terrible. Window didn't close, very noisy. Moved to a different room the next day was much better, even extended our stay one more day. Daughter found quite a few surprises under the bed- candy, paper,etc. Otherwise ok
