Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Bermans from Boston Couldn't be better - told our friends about it. We will return next summer. May 18, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by no thanks Tight, overpriced, efficient to the point of cheap[. If you AR looking to stay at a nice hotel keep looking. The rooms are tiny, the view is non-existent. The location is good but that is really all this hotel has to offer. May 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by San Fraancisco Could use a small sore for snacks and amenities. I've stayed there many times and have always been satisfied May 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service and convenient location Convenient location, spacious rooms, quiet and friendly staff. May 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service, great location We had a wonderful vacation in San Francisco. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful in meeting all of our requests. This is a great location for walking to Fisherman's Wharf, cable cars, etc. We found the breakfast selections to be plentiful. The breakfast area can be crowded at times, particularly during the last half hour, but you can always take a tray to your room or just arrive earlier. May 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Elegant and close to Pier 39 As always, I loved the stay at Holiday Inn Express. They also choose excellent locations, have spacious room, and choose elegant colors and finishes. May 11, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Predatory Pricing and Horrible View The hotel is located in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. San Francisco is always expensive but it doesn't lessen the sting of add-on costs such as parking. Parking at this hotel is $49.00 per day and only allows valet. The room was much smaller than average, average appointments and quality and had a view of an adjacent interior wall although I was paying full price. I think that if you put down business travel on your reservation, that's what you get, a luxury wall view, since they assume you won't be spending a lot of time there...that was correct and the reason I didn't ask for a change. On the upside, the location is at Fisherman's Wharf and within walking distance virtually everything once you get there. I was attending a business conference at the Presidio and the hotel was just a short drive from the conference. As for parking well, it's ridiculous to charge guests more to park at the hotel than surrounding lots are charging the general public. That alone was enough to ruin the experience. Traveling on business typically disallows use of public transportation and this hotel is a LONG way from the airport which eliminates a lot of options. Although transport like Uber is readily available in San Francisco, being on unpredictable schedules at the bequest of clients and such really makes other options unrealistic. I can't say anything was bad, just very average and in turn, bad value for the cost. The location definitely dictates what you get at this hotel. May 11, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ruhiges Hotelzimmer trotz sehr zentraler Lage Das Hotel bietet bei sehr zentraler Lage guten Komfort und ruhige Übernachtungsmöglichkeit. Die Zimmer sind gepflegt und gut ausgestattet, das übliche amerikanische Frühstück ist variationsreicher als erwartet. Parkplätze sind vorhanden, auch Valet-Parking ist unkompliziert und bequem, allerdings recht teuer. May 11, 2015
