I explained to the front desk clerk my situation and he was very eager to assist me and I stayed at this property the duration of my stay in the area and was very pleased. July 19, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL MANAGEMENT I lost 15,000 rewards points because of this Holiday Inn Manager. When I made the reservation for this hotel I was told how my rewards points and dollars would apply. The two front desk clerks (who were very nice) told me the same story how they would apply. BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL MANAGEMENT, they changed the rules how the points would apply. When I called Holiday Inn Rewards Club to question my point balance, they said that the hotel manager had already talked to me about the reward points and they would apply as is. THAT WAS LIE, I NEVER TALKED TO THE HOTEL MANAGER. BEWARE OF THE MANAGEMENT. July 13, 2014

The best description of our experience would be that we were made to feel welcome, and especially made to feel at ease. No worries, in this Hotel they have your back! Hungry? Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great room, but poor staff execution TV and remote didn't work. When I called for assistance, the front desk acknowledge the problem and promised to send someone up. No one ever came, No further communication. No one would have ever known had I not brought it up the next day. So there's no system to record trouble spots to assure nothing is forgotten. The front desk staff, shuttle driver and maintainence staff are fantastic and REALLY customer service oriented! The value is great! The hotel is spotlessly clean and comfortable! After at least 12 to 15 visits over the last few years, we won't stay anywhere else when spending the night in North Atlanta. Michelle at the Front Desk is absolutely superb!! She has always been so helpful and pleasant. We always look forward to interacting with her. Mario the maintainence and shuttle driver is also very pleasant and helpful! We really appreciate how he has taken care of us and some special requests! Thanks for several great stays!! June 25, 2014

The front desk employees were very, very helpful and nice. I remember a young man named Randy who was particularly helpful. If you have to go to the IHG training at Dunwoody then this is definitely a place to choose the shuttle service is prompt and on time and very pleasant to be around, showed all the great spots to eat and of course if you're a women they will show you all the great shopping areas really close by. This place is close to everything on the North-side of Atlanta, businesses, restaurants and clubs/bars. There is a shuttle to take you to all of them too (within 3 miles), the driver is super cool. They really make you feel at home and do everything they can for you. Michelle, the front desk clerk is always so cheerful and makes me smile, even after a long drive. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Terrific staff tired rooms The staff here is friendly, helpful and always welcomes me warmly. The rooms though need a lot of help. They are not dirty but they feel that way. The tubs are cracked, the bottom of every object whether it is the tub, the table, the dresser, the bed and walls are all scuffed. The room I was in this past week had a dirt or grease stain on the wall near some kind of utility box in the wall beside the bed. The room is clean. I just wish the owners would do some work to get tHem looking that way. May 3, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Proximity to Northside Hospital My husband had a medical issue. His surgical appointment was scheduled at 5:30 a.m. on Monday at Northside Hospital in Atlanta. Our home was way to far from the hospital to consider driving the distance on the same day of his surgery. The Holiday Inn Express on Hammond Drive was the most convenient to Northside Hospital. When I called the hotel I was fortunate to reach Shabbir, the GM. I explained my situation and requested a room for Sunday through Tuesday, the day my husband was scheduled to be discharged. I also mentioned that I had a concern that if we needed to extend our visit another day, would that be possible? He did not hesitate to extend our stay, if it was necessary. All went well for my husband's surgery! We came home on the day after his surgery. The hotel was perfect - Shabbir, and his staff were very understanding, compassionate, and most flexible to our needs. April 25, 2014

They did not have a room for me until 2pm which I can understand but I was kind of counting on checking in early to get some work done. The room needs some update - It looks a little old... Also, there a nice kitchen but no dishes - all kitchen cabinets are empty. As always, I have a serious issue with the 'gift bag' they give platinum members which includes a $1 bottle of water and a little snack... April 21, 2014

Lots of restaurants to pick from. Also, medical hospitals and offices. If you are going for the medical this is a great place to stay. Our king size bed room worked for my hubby and me!
