Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Special Requests Ignored For the last 15 years, I've been requesting additional pillows when I make the reservation and then 3 days prior to my stay I send an email directly to the hotel confirming my request for additional pillows. I don't know why there's a place to enter special requests when the hotel NEVER fulfills the request. I'm more frustrated by the fact that my confirmation email goes ignored. I never receive any acknowledgement from the hotel. During the month of July, I decided to stay at competing hotels then followed the same procedure of making the special request upon reservation and then an email 3 days prior to my stay. Of the 14 nights and 3 competing hotels, my request was fulfilled 85% of the time. The pillows are either in my room upon arrival or the hotel sent me an acknowledgement of my request and then brought the pillows up shortly after checkin. I've earned platinum and now spire level for the last 10 years. With IHG locations, my request is fulfilled 20% of the time. I'm convinced my customer loyalty just doesn't mean anything. I even own IHG property at Orange Lake. What more can I do have a simple request honored. Specifically, at this location (Sandy, UT) they only had 3 additional pillows...with no pillow cases (of my request for 5) and then the clerk brought up a couple of bedspreads. I have a medical condition that requires me to sleep reclined otherwise I get no sleep. That's what happened at this location. September 26, 2015

Not a lot of bells and whistles, but decent quality, e.g., plastic cups in the bathrooms vs. glass; Manual Air-conditioning vs. thermostat, free breakfast vs. restaurant style. No complaints, just level your expectations to the offering, and the price/value is in line. September 23, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed but super loud and lack of cleaning The bathroom was dirty I let front desk know and nothing happened tub had hair In it and looked filthy. The left side still had candy wrappers on it and also just smelled of stake smoke. I always stay there but I think it wa any last time not very happy that nothing was handled about room dirtiness and smell. September 8, 2015
