The hotel should have been closed for renovation. It was not a comfortable experience with all the renovations being done.

The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We arrived a couple hours early and were able to get a room with no wait. Our needs were well met. This hotel is only about 10 minutes for the airport (SFB).

They were going through a remodel, which will hopefully get rid of the sorry king size bed we had on 4th floor. Wall outlet covers broken and unsafe, room smelled musty, but that could be part of remodel smell.
Once they get remodel done ~ hopefully will be a bit more
comfortable to stay there. Staff polite & breakfast good.
Very nice location to get airport quickley.
We will look at further Holiday Inn Express when traveling,good value.

The hotel is undergoing some major renovation but we were still treated well. We were upgraded to a suite (without asking) because there were a lot of construction workers staying at the hotel. The suite looked like it had recently been renovated. It still needed some tweaking - the jacuzzi didn't work and the smoke detector was hanging off the wall - but all in all it was a beautiful room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area could also use some upgrading (patio furniture was in poor condition) but assume this will come after all the rooms are renovated. All and all a nice hotel only 5 minutes away from the airport so our early morning flight was a breeze. Will definitely consider staying here again when in the area.

I am one to hardly ever complain. i just wouldn't want anyone else to experience what we did. The front desk help was ok. Our room was dirty, the beds were shot you could roll right off the mattresses. The whole room need to be gutted and started from scratch. We left the lights on during the two hours of sleep we got because we were afraid of bugs. My son would not shower in the shower and I stood on a wash cloth. The shuttle was on time and went very well. I will not stay there again, can't believe they charged me what they did to stay in those conditions.

From the moment I walked in the door, the experience never went above average....They can not have anyone training the desk personal. They act like you are bothering them. When I was on the computer one evening, I overheard a couple checking in, when they were walking past me their conversation was about how rude the lady was.
Also it was the first time that I have checked in at a Holiday Inn and there was no mention of Priority Club status.

enjoyed our overnight stay and enjoyed the comfy bed! will stay again next time we are flying out of sanford airport.
