Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Never again Though my husband and I stay in Holiday Inn Express all the time this stay was not a good one. I had a long drive and decided to go to bed early, however there was loud music coming up through my closet. Finally contacted the front desk and within minutes they called me back and the music was gone. It was music being played in the lobby..... the front desk person identified it immediately... I am sure it wasn't the first time. Then after falling asleep I was woken up by a critter in the wall that continued to scamper and scratch the entire night. NO SLEEP!!! Upon reporting it in the moring my room was credited, which was great, but my sleep is much more important to me. I really don't think the critter was a surprise either. January 19, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor First Time stay at a holiday Inn Express Hallways have an unpleasant "odor". Was Dirty furniture in the suite, bugs in the bathroom, no juices for the breakfast...absolutely NO juices. Staff was OK, but the upkeep and cleanliness are FAR lacking. January 1, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by needs improvements I have stayed at this hotel before. These are new issues, this did not happen before. The TV would freeze up. Also if you didnt take a shower by 7am you did not have hot water. I was told by the front desk that the cable was being worked on. I was there 7 days and it was not fixed. I also had issues with internet. I had to log in to work to do payroll why I was there, and I would be on the internet and get kicked off. These happened alot.. They only had two carts to transfer your luggage and 1 was falling apart. There was a young girl and a older woman at the front desk that were friendly. The rest of the staff really didnt seem to care. I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express in Clinton TN on my way home, and it was like night and day. Very friendly everything worked well. January 1, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty with a funny smell Room was surprisingly dirty and the whole facility had a funny unpleasant smell. Only had one bar of soap, both bottles in the bathroom were shampoo - no conditioner or lotion. Microwave had bugs in it - which we killed and then cleaned with disinfecting wipes! Finally, went down to the lobby at around 9:30 pm for coffee, both decaf carafes were ice cold and had to wait while the attendant made fresh! Disappointing experience at best! December 31, 2014
