This is the second time I have filled out my review as the previous one didn't post. Upon checking into my room, I immediately smelled a strong odor consistent to sausage. I contact the front desk and they advised me that they would spray Febreze to mask the smell. I advised I would not be in the room and they said that they would take care of it. Upon arriving to my room later that night there was a blue machine in the corner running and my room was very hot as they must of turned the heat up. I assumed that this was to resolve the smell issue. Upon waking up in the morning, I questioned the front desk what the machine was and asked if I should keep it running. The lady at the front desk advised that I should not have the unit running as it is a "ozone machine" and actually removes oxygen from the air. I was immediately frustrated as this was their resolution to solving the problem. The lady reported from the front desk and removed the machine from our room. Later that day I was back in the room and it again smelled foul. The two nights that I spent in the room, I questioned the cleanliness of the room and felt my express of concerns were hardly considered.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Lake State Lakers Room smelled like sausage
Immediately upon entering my room I smelled a strong odor very similar to a sausage smell. I called to the front desk and they stated that they would spray Fe-breeze in the room to help mask the odor. I advised that I was leaving the room as I had plans for the evening. Upon reporting back to my room later that night, there was blue apparatus in our room and the thermostat had been adjusted, and the heat was turned up very high. The air was readjusted and I went to bed for the evening. I called the front desk in the morning to ask what the machine was in my room and was advised that it was an "ozone machine". I stated that I have no idea what that is, she asked me if it was blue? I confirmed that it was indeed blue, she then stated that it should not be running in the room if we are in there as it removes oxygen from the air. I was now irritated that I had slept in a room that smelled like sausage, was very hot, and had an "ozone machine" that apparently removes oxygen from the air. The lady from the front desk then came to the room and removed that machine and apologized. I still had one more night to stay in the room. I left the room as I had some appointments throughout the day, I later was back in my room and it still had a strong sausage smell. It was an absolute uncomfortable stay as I question how clean the room was and felt the measures to correct the problems were careless.

Hotel staff were very nice. Our room was on the 5th floor. The Breakfast staff did a great job of keeping up as there were many kids there for a hockey tournament. We will return to this hotel in the furture.

Staff is good. It's a conformable hotel, rooms are clean (bit cold) but you can set the temperature you want and it's quick to get there. Parking is easy
