We were traveling to Florida and chanced upon getting a room in the area. The Holiday Inn Express was my first choice and we were happy to find a room was available.
Everyone was friendly too.
While Traveling I often find it difficult to be comfortable when staying one night. Room temperature or exterior lighting or noise is usually the cause.
This was not the case here. We slept well and were not bothered by anything. We slept well.

This was by far the BEST IHG hotel I have stayed at in the past 6 months. I had made up my mind that if this hotel was ANYTHING like the others that I would never stay at another IHG chain!
I came expecting the worst and received the BEST! The room was exceptionally clean, the service was AWESOME and the young lady at the front desk was SO pleasant it made me smile :-) this hotel has it right!! I would stay here EVERY time I am in the Georgia area and in fact I will probably only stay at Holiday Inn's moving forward.
This hotel knows how to welcome traveling guests, and is clean inside and out! They made me feel welcome, safe and I left there smiling!

I have stayed in many HIE's around the Southeast and this was the first time I was able to hear the man in the adjoining room snoring. I had to lay there for about 20 minutes until he stopped before I was able to go to sleep.
Then, the guest in the room before me left the clock alarm set for 3 am.

My room was quiet...dark...the bed was comfy and the pillows were awesome. Ohhh and breakfast was fresh and hot.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 One good experience, one bad experience
The first stay at this hotel in December 2015 was good. Clean room, friendly staff, breakfast area mostly maintained with only a couple dirty tables. The only real negative was not being able to obtain a luggage cart at checkout.
The second stay 1/1/2016 was much different. Room was OK and check in staff friendly but breakfast items were empty, even the utensils. The front desk/manager said it wasn't their normal breakfast person. I don't think it would have been possible for less than 2 people to cook, maintain the breakfast items, and keep the area clean. Also, the manager should have been keeping better tabs on the area, even if it had been their usual breakfast person. The food and utensils didn't get used up in 5 or 10 minutes.
It was a heavily traveled holiday weekend. More help should have been scheduled.

Good location near highway, however, rooms have paper-thin walls. Our neighbors were very loud all night and we could hear every word. Not a good nights rest after a long days drive.
