Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by just what we needed Our stay was just what we needed. Through a mistake on my part we didn't have a reservation at this Holiday Inn. Darren and the rest of the staff made us welcome and I was able to cancel my other reservation. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The inn itself was very clean and in like new condition. We were a little hungry and were advised of several establishments in walking distance. We couldn't ask for better accommodation, and will stay at Holiday Inn again. May 20, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Watch out for the Carpets Overall stay at this hotel was good. We had a spill in one of our bags and they were willing to dry it in their laundry dryers so we wouldn't have to go off site to dry it. Would be very careful if you have children who are young: either crawling or younger. The floors in the room need a good deep cleaning. Our child is crawling and within minutes of him crawling on the carpet in the room, his hands, knees and clothing was covered in a black filth of some kind. Can only imagine what bacteria is growing. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel good, headache of check-in...not! I work for the state of GA and have stayed at this hotel several times for work. I've always gotten a government rate and have always paid with a government check. I booked this room as usual and showed up to check-in with my tax exempt forms and check. I was told they no longer accept checks (no one informed me of this when I booked the reservation). I fortunately had enough money on my card to authorize the amount of the room; however, those funds were unavailable to me until the check cleared which was several days later. I was also told I would receive a 10,000 reward point credit due to the inconvenience as I am a platinum rewards member.....I've never received that either. My biggest issues is not that the card was needed to hold the funds but that I was not told about his change until I arrived to check in...what if I did not have those funds in my bank? I would have had to return home and come back to Savannah the following day. I would like my reward points that were promised me and i would like to be told prior to check-in if there are changes in the future.... May 8, 2015
