Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Very Disappointing Stay---BEWARE!! I do not recommend this property at this time because it is in transition and some things are out of control with the management/administrative and housekeeping operations. A lot is going on with its management and staff. See below for examples. Housekeeping/Maintenance Staff: I had a Do Not Disturb (DNR) sign on my door, but someone from housekeeping (a young male housekeeper) entered my room anyway. The next day, the DNR sign was still on my door and two male employees knocked on it! I waited before answering and they were about to enter the room. When I opened the door, they were shocked, but proceeded to tell me that they were changing out the bed skirts on the beds. REALLY?! I am sure that the task/change could have been done after my stay or departure. What really shocked me is how these employees were so disrespectful of my privacy while I was there. A DNR sign on the door means DO NOT DISTURB. My instinct tells me that these employees (young men) entering my room one day and trying to enter it the very next day----even though it had a DNR sign on it---were interested in more than just servicing the room. BEWARE! Management/Administrative Issues: On the administrative or management side of the hotel's operations, there was a major problem with my bill (a duplicate charge). I also questioned the hotel staff about the fact that incidental charges don't show up separately on your credit card under "Temporary Authorizations." The charges are combined as one which could cause a problem. PLEASE CHECK your charges from this hotel (temporary authorizations and final transactions). BEWARE! Finally, I am a IHG Rewards Club Member (Spire Elite) and was not recognized at check-in or during my stay! My last comment: BEWARE! May 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by School Trip We enjoyed the hotel overall. Had a few issues with checking in that were discussed with the sales staff the next day for a solution. Overall the hotel was nice, parking fine, breakfast good with a variety, dining room kept clean, nice up to date entry, room did smell strong upon entry...not sure what that was - too many cleaning products or ?? But overall, it was a good stay. May 9, 2016
