Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Soft, lumpy and wavy Do not stay here. The experience is bad. There are two small elevators for a seven floor hotel with probably a 150 or more rooms. The second elevator was not working for most of the four day stay. No concierge assistance. Carry your own luggage in and out. The furniture in the room was cheap. The couch was dirty, probably not cleaned in eons, if at all. The dresser had a drawer that would not close. The breakfast was mediocre. The room had no fan in the shower room and the shower head was defective. No food room service. The hotel was crowded and accessing the elevator required lengthy waits and crowded quarters. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great location Very nice hotel close to almost everything in downtown Savannah. We parked our car on Friday and did not use again until we left on Sunday. The room was clean, breakfast was good, staff was very friendly. There was a problem with one of the elevators that delayed us a bit, but not too bad. Apparently the elevator had been an issue for a few days. We would choose to stay at this location again. April 17, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by grossly overpriced & poorly maintained This hotel is in an excellent location and has a lovely rooftop view, but I have never paid this much for a room even in Manhattan. The biggest problem, however, is with equipment and maintenance, specifically the elevators. There are just 2 elevators in this hotel and only 1 seemed to work reliably. We were stuck in the poorly operating one once (albeit only for a short time), but it appeared to be inoperable for most of our 2 day stay. Further, everyone we rode the elevator with, including many who had been there the entire week, complained of exactly the same problem. So if you do choose to stay here, be prepared to be inconvenienced by very long waits for the elevator. April 16, 2015

You can not beat the location - right by the trolley stop, a block from the River and all the restaurants, bars, shopping. A few blocks walk from many of the squares, City Market and shopping along Broughton Street. Great breakfast choices. You can not go wrong staying here. April 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Experience This was our first trip to Savannah and could not have asked for a better place to stay. Right in the heart of the historic, and I mean historic district, very close to all of the places you want to see and visit. Slow elevators, but that is the price you pay for a great view from the 8th floor, still not enough to downgrade from a 5 out of 5.Make sure you get up to the top floor pool area that has a great sitting and viewing area. I would highly recommend this HI and will definitely stay here again if we get back to Savannah. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! April 14, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 nice hotel, terrible elevators The hotel was nice, the elevators were a hassle, slow or broken the entire week we were there. Clean and staff is friendly. If you don't valet, parking is a hassle, and its city wide pay to park. Lots of money needed to park. Seems to be a lot of homeless around thehotel streets. April 12, 2015
