Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff and hotel From the moment we arrived we had great service from all the staff, we asked for extra coat hangers and within 15 minutes they had arrived, all the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast extremely good. Hotel in a brilliant situation for everything in Savannah, we will be back !!!! May 21, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by River View Had a beautiful room overlooking the river. Enjoyed watching the ship traffic. However, it can be quite noisy on the weekend evenings. Location terrific for walking to the squares, trolley stops, even Paula Deen's. Valet staff extremely helpful and the tech/maintenance man was on the ball. Only con was total lack of recognition for Priority Club status. Even the separate check-in wasn't functioning well and had to wait quite some time for staff to get off the phone. May 20, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Prime location with outstanding river views Stayed on 6th floor, river front. Kids &us never tired of the awesome river view. Watching the boat traffic was a hit. Rooms had newer style appearance and were adequate as far as amenities just a little worn here & there. Could use some replacement of wallpaper, fraying curtains & the like. But was kept clean each day. Breakfast was typical HI Express - lots of choice & breakfast area was huge - plenty of seating with street side views. Good self parking in public garage next door & easy walking to river, market, historic district, Forsyth Park - all downtown Savannah. Showing as a little tight on room space and use, as mentioned, but overall good stay in a great location for reasonable pricing. May 20, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and friendly staff Had a great experience at the Holiday Inn Express in Savannah. Location was perfect for checking out the sites of the city - a block away from the Riverfront and close to a lot of the attractions we were interested in. The Olde Pink House and Leopold's are less than a block away so that was an added bonus too! We arrived earlier than check-in but were able to get into a room. All staff we encountered were very customer-service-oriented, from the valet to the front desk staff to the breakfast staff. The room was small but well-appointed. The only complaint I have was that the doors/walls seemed super thin - we could hear everything going on in the hallway and it was LOUD! All in all a good weekend away. Definitely a great price for the area. May 18, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and Modern I would definitely stay here again. Located in the heart of the historic district within walking distance of many attractions. Convenient parking garage right next door. We stayed in a one queen bed room. The room was a bit small, like many in downtown hotels. however it was clean and modern. Shower only, no tub. I would recommend a larger room if staying for more than a day or two. May 12, 2013
