One of the best values I have found anywhere. room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was helpful in every way. The selection of food and the quality was excellent The breakfast room was very clean, light and inviting. I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone who is interested in seeing all that Savannah has to offer

We stay here every time we are in Savannah. We are always met with a friendly greeting and made to feel at home. This visit we were in a room with a balcony overlooking the river. The rooms are large and well kept. Overall the facility and staff are top notch.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Holiday Express Inn in Savannah. We could not have been more pleased with our room and the incredibly friendly, caring staff. Everyone worked very hard to make us feel special and to insure that our stay was an enjoyable, relaxing experience. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone interested in staying in historic Savannah. You will not be disappointed!

The Savannah staff is simply lovely. So friendly and kind. I didn't have to ask for anything because they supplied it before I said anything. Staying there was a great experience. I love Holiday Inn Express. Great rooms for a great price.

Of all the HI hotels, this was the very very best. The staff greeted us as if they knew who we were and gave us an upgrade to the top floor overlooking the river. Really great hotel. We'll be back.

Savannah is one of our favorite cities and this hotel is one of the best secrets in Savannah. The room was spacious and comfortable. All amenities were perfect and the breakfast was outstanding.From a location perspective, we really liked the closeness to everything.
Everyone on the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, from desk to valet parking to breakfast.
We will definitely stay here again.

We loved this hotel. We came to Savannah as a Christmas gift surprise trip for my 85 year old mother. We needed connected rooms and really wanted a river view for 3 nights. My experience with this hotel started with Hope. She worked with me to ensure the best value and incredible rooms. The river view from the top floor was fantastic! I'm really thankful for her help. The rooms were spacious, very comfortable & clean. The entire staff was incredible - always willing to help in any way - from the valets, to the front desk, housekeeping & the breakfast staff. Meeting the Front Office Manager, made it obvious that the professionalism & kindness start at the top. The complementary breakfast was very good. The location was perfect. I can't say enough about our level of satisfaction & will be recommending this hotel often and look forward to our next stay.

I was pleasantly surprized to find that this Holiday Inn Express has a bar. Plus the people at the hotel are super nice. There are dozens and dozens of good restaurants near by.

This establishment is great. Great friendly people, and the room is very comfortable. You are in the heart of the city so you are able to walk about. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is pretty nice compared to the other Holiday Inn I have stayed in. My only one complaint is the breakfast. Not much variety, but it is good enough to fill my needs for the day.

What a great time we had in savannah. The hotel was in the perfect place, overlooking river st. where alot of the actions is. We parked the car and didn't move it until we left, everything was within walking distance, restaurants, shopping, site seeing,and make sure you visit market place. Some locals come out and perform tons of music, everyone was enjoying themselfs and having a great time! We will definitely go back again and recommend holiday inn express. Staff always made sure you were comfortable with what you needed. Very modern facilities, breakfast was just enough to get you started. Take the old time shuttle service, they have all the knowledge you need, we had RUEBEN! Can't wait to go back!

A fantastic stay from the moment we valeted the car. The valets were courteous and extremely helpful as were all of the staff we encountered. The king-sized bed and two roomy chairs were very welcoming after a day of walking and enjoying Savannah. Everything was clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated but also very practical by having a small refrigerator and microwave. Although it was cool and rainy one afternoon, we enjoyed the hot tub located on the roof of the hotel. The water was wonderful on our tired legs and feet. I could just imagine a warm day going from the pool to the covered area to relax on the chaise lounges. At night, the view over the parapet to the river is beautiful.
The complimentary breakfasts were very tasty and varied in their selections from warm and cold cereals to eggs, pancakes, fruits and yogurts and delicious coffees all available with a complimentary newspaper. Our only suggestion to a ALL hotels would be the inclusion of non-dairy products for those of us who require it.

For what you pay here I would expect more. Check in was quick but my priority club status was never acknowledged. Once in the room I discovered that the internet service was so slow that it was not useable. Others on our floor were having the same problem. I mentioned this to the front desk and was assured that the problem would be fixed; it never was.
Breakfast was a mess, poorly organized and the food was cold. This was a holiday week end with a lot of people so the line for food was out the door. Perhaps during normal times things are better.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable but the sink in the bathroom was very slow to drain. Again, I mentioned this but nothing was done.
Finally, the valet managed to loose our car for a while.
This hotel has a great location but for the cost you might want to consider staying elsewhere. Their is a Holiday Inn right down the street. The prices are about the same and you do not get a free breakfast. I have stayed there before and everything was very nice.
This will my stop the next time I am in Savannah.
Again, remember that this was a holiday weekend, things may be better when they are not so crowded

Rooms must be recently renovated as they looked brand new. Room was large, including bath (shower was extremely nice with instant hot water). Room on Bay Street was relatively quiet considering the traffic. If you want the view, get a corner room above the 5th floor, the back side would be more quiet from traffic and folks on the street. Staff was some of the best I've ever had, even in more upscale hotels. Lounge is right on Bay Street and when weather permits they can open the door to the sidewalk (good for smokers#. Just across the street you have the Riverfront and trolley station, and short walking distance to good restaurants #try the new Tondees Tavern on Bay which stays open late or the Pink House). Short walk to city market and not much farther to Lady and Sons. Rooftop pool good place to have get together.

On our way back from Florida we decided to check out Savannah. What a pleasant surprise it was to stumble across the Holiday Inn Express right in the center of the Historic District. We were a minutes walk from RiverWalk and some great restaurants. The only problem for us seniors was the cobblestones on our path to the river and that wouldn't be a problem for the younger generation. All in all, I would definitely go back to the Holiday Inn Express. The staff was great especially the young lady named Hope who checked us in.

Stayed for 2 nights with two children and the husband. Had a great stay. Room was clean and staff was very friendly spoiling the kids with snacks. There were a ton of valet guys working but only a few that were friendly and helpful. Valet could step up there customer service game. Location of the hotel is great, within walking distance to a ton of things. Will return to this hotel and this city. Loved it.

My wife and I go to Savannah every January and June for the past five years. Holiday Inn Express has proven to be an excellent value, and in a perfect location to walk to just about everywhere. We park our car in the garage on the day we arrive and don't see it till the day we leave. There are so many sites to see and restaurants in walking distance you don't need a car.
The Holiday Inn Express in Savannah has clean rooms, excellent service and a great location. If your looking for a nice clean place to stay in a great location you can't go wrong here. Maybe we'll see you there on our next trip.

We were pleasantly surprised by how upscale HI/Exp has become. Beautiful & clean facility, Rooms had everything you need including plenty of space, Beds & pillows were very comfortable. Also, considering we stayed on a super busy holiday night, NYE, the service was still top notch. One of the best for variety & quality of continental breakfasts...only missing the made-to-order omelets! Yes, the eggs looked questionable (as another reviewer remarked) but were actually quite delicious. I would only say be aware of staying on a holiday if you don't want to pay valet fees. The garages were full and we had to valet. We found it very convenient, quite a time saver. The bar area and lounge were very nice, though we went out to play! Came back for rooftop view of NYE fireworks! Great location...walk to everything. Definitely would stay here again.

Location of facility was great. Hotel was fine, but our room had shower only . For the price, a tub would have been nice. Also bed so close to wall that the person on wall side had to be careful getting in and out of bed. Internet would work on my wireless in lobby, but seldom in my room. I noted several guests using lobby to check mail etc, so assumed they had same issue.

Enough good cannot be said for our stay. There wasn't a flaw. My wife and I spent our 40th wedding anniversary ( New Years Eve ) here and couldn't have been more pleased. The room was perfect with a view of the river and East Bay street activity. The staff was superb,as well as the morning breakfast. We'll definitely return to the Holiday Inn Express for our next Savannah visit.....which I hope comes soon. So many things going on in the historic district to pass by. You gotta love Savannah.
