The first night we had to ask for more and they were delivered to our room while we were eating dinner. But the next day when the maid serviced the room, once again she only left 3 sets of towels!! We never did receive the fourth set because it was late in the evening and no one had access to the linens. March 22, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Heat woulld not turn off...must have been at least90 degrees...awful experience The heat could nopt be turned off or lowered. Even if cold air was turned on...it would turn to full blown hot air. Absolutley miserable experience. I only stay in Holiday Inn Express when traveling...and have always been very happy. That heat issue must have been known...when i walked into the room it was just incredibly hot. i turned heat down and left for the basketball tourney...returning to find it just as hot. I lowered the heat, and woke to incredible heat again...then put on air conditioning...which worked a while..went to sleep...waking again to incredible heat. Never experienced such a thing. Should have told front desk...but had to rush out to pick up my daughter March 13, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Towels We had a nice time and the room and hotel were very nice. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. I did not understand why having enough towels for each person registered in the room was such a problem. We had 4 persons in our room and only 3 towels, with the housekeeper right outside our door. I asked her for an extra set of towels and was told the policy was I had to go down to the front desk and ask??? Once we had the extra set of towels, why when our room was cleaned, were 4 sets taken and only 3 replaced? March 9, 2013

I had to spend 30 minutes each morning driving to other restaurants just to get fair breakfast. Otherwise hotel is excellent. Shuttle service is very good and accommodating. February 21, 2013

The quality of the hotel is excellent is virtually every respect. The only problem I had on this visit was with accessing Internet via wireless. It was a problem for the whole hotel and they were attempting to address it. It was not critical to my visit so I do not consider it a major issue. Love how quiet my room was! January 22, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Staff My most recent stay in Schaumburg was quite a trip. I usually travel without incident and stay 2-4 days at the Holiday Inn Express. The staff is always welcoming me with a smile and very polite. They even remember me even though I only travel 3 or 4 times a year. This last trip I was forced to stay an extra night after my flight had been canceled due to weather. I had already checked out of the hotel and was in a business meeting when I received notification that my flight had been canceled. I immediately called the front desk and asked if they had any extra rooms and were very grateful to accommodate me. The hotel shuttle was made available to pick me up and even drop me off at the local mall even though the weather wasn't the ideal. I really enjoy staying at this hotel and feel that if it weren't for the staff I wouldn't mind staying somewhere else. The rooms are great, beds are comfortable, and the happy hour/breakfast are always good. January 2, 2013

She helped me find my way around the city by recommending me to good and honest taxi cab drivers. She knew that I was sick when I arrived your hotel and she would call me in my room to ask how i am doing. Your cleaners are also good and honest. They always clean my room everyday and so courteous. Used joining rooms: 1 K for my wife and I, to a pass-through for our 2 sons (6 & 9) in a 2Q room. Fitness room doubled as play room for an hour. Hotel is All remodeled and very pleasant. Lobby was very nice, rooms were clean and quiet. Breakfast was great with small children; cereal and Pancake maker were very adequate. Staff was very nice and helpful. December 4, 2012

I have stayed at the location for over 8 years and it continues to strive for customer service and constant improvements. The location fits my schedule and the resturant bar next door is a great addition to the area when staying. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful 2 nights stay! We had a king room that was absolutely huge, complete with fridge, microwave and 2 easy chairs. We had a day of work and a day of play and this was a wonderful place for both. We had the dine-in service offered by the Snuggery and the ribs, chips, coleslaw and soup were great. We also loved their soft pretzels. The staff was excellent and everything we used was nice, clean and updated. The value was awesome for the amenities and service. We will definitely use this hotel again in a couple of months when we will be back in the area! November 2, 2012

Free Happy hour for snacks and drinks in lobby. Need something? Justy ask the desk. They will take care of your needs quickly. Rooms are nice, clean, cozy, and well made up. Each room is the same so you feel like you are coming home each time you stay there. Easy to adjust my bill when I missed my flight and was charged for one night that I wasn't there. They took off the room charge with no questions asked. No non-sense hotel that caters to the business traveler. Nice free breakfast too! October 25, 2012

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Difficulty parking After a long day we were anxious to relax in our room. Instead we had to drive around the parking lot several times waiting for someone to leave. The popular bar next door completely monopolizes the parking lot and makes it difficult for guests to find a spot in what I assume is the hotel parking lot. This situation should be rectified. The room was very clean and the staff was hospitable and pleasant. The only issue is parking. The Hotel is right next to a popular restaurant so I suspect they use the Hotel parking. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very Disappointed! I check in and it seemed that I was bothering the staff at the desk. They had to interrupt their conversation to help me. Even though there is a shuttle that suppose to take you to the airport and to the Woodfield mall, I was told that it "doesn't run on weekends. The room was in need of a good cleaning and the shower needed repairs. The TV remote didn't work, and they wouldn't put me in a different room, because this was the one for "reward night". I'm a priority club member, but the last two times I've stayed at a Holiday inn has made me start to rethink it. I use to love Holiday inns but I'm not sure if I'm going to continue associating with them. Only brightside was the breakfast! It's still good at least! October 8, 2012
