My daughter and I stayed here at the hotel for two nights last week. The front desk staff was very pateint with us in getting directions for me into the city. They referred us to a good german Gasthaus over in the next town. The rooms are very nice and the breakfast buffet was excellent. We would stay here again on our next trip to the Munich area. The wi-fi service was excellent, however both printers in the lobby were out of service.

I picked this hotel because of an early morning flight the next day.
Rooms and hotel were very clean and comfortable.
4-5 English speaking news channels on the TV. (Not the norm for Europe) The staff was very helpful and everyone spoke English. I needed help printing out my boarding pass and the young lady at the front desk came over and offrered assistance.
Unlike the Holiday Inn Express hotels in the US, this one has a restaurant and a small bar with mixed drinks and draft beers.
I had the wood oven baked pizza and it was very good.
The only down side was what I had to pay for this stay. There was a big trade show in Munich so EVERY hotel in the Munich area was three times to normal rate. This HIE was the best deal of that group. Their normal rates are very good for the area.
I am going back in June and have already booked my room to stay here again.

Within a spread of 10 days, me and my wife had to use this hotel because we both had flights early morning out of Munich. One can have early dinner in the hotel (decent options) and hit the bed. Breakfast starts as 4am so one does not have to miss his/her complementary offer. Shuttle service is pretty good. Room was not very big but cozy and very neatly arranged. Lot more English channels on TV than all the hotels that I came across in other non-English speaking European countries.
It definitely pays off being a priority club member. :-)

The hotel is right by Munich airport. They offer a shuttle service to the airport for a fee. I had a rental car with me so didn't use it. The hotel parking and wifi was free because I was a platinum member. I did not try the breakfast.h

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Munich Airport recently with my colleague. We were amazed that this particular Express also offered a large dinner menue. We stayed for two nights, first night we ate homemade Pizza. It was gigantic and well seasoned. The second nicht I had the steak and my colleague the club sandwich. Excellent once again. The bedrooms are the typical standard and very clean. We were both amazed to see the General Manager assist his team - real hands on. Reason we knew he was the General Manager was because he wore a name badge which we matched with the board at reception. A real asset to that hotel.
Compared to the other branded hotels around Munich Airport this one tops all the others hands down.
We shall stay again.

This hotel offers all what you need for an overnight at Munich aiport, just right , nothing fancy or luxury . but just right , shuttle for 5 euro every 30 minutes almost 24h
. They also have quite a large offer of food at internal restaurant .

Overall fine hotel and remarkably quite so close to munich airport.
Very good shuttle service.
One regret : although i had written in advance to ensure a choice of fat free milk and yoghurt at breakfast, there was only full fat yoghurt, and when i reiterated my request the first morning in view of the next day i was told that it would not be a sure thing to arrangefor that....
Most othere Holiday Inn express i have stayed do take care of this rather simple requestthough...

Holiday Inn Express Munich Airport was, without a doubt, my best experience in a HI Express. HI Express Munich Airport sets the bar high in terms of a first rate German breakfast, and relaxing dining and bar experience, compared to its counterparts in the USA.

Clean, efficient, and very German hotel. I appreciated the Priority Club rewards - free wifi, late check out, and a discount on bar food. The shuttle (5 Euro each way) was also very timely. The free breakfast had a lot of variety and was very good. The only thing this hotel lacked was a gym.

After a extremly long flight from Australia to Germany it was a pleasure to stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Munich. Every staff member was unbelievably nice and helpful. The rooms were remarkably clean and the breakfast just amazing. My husband and I would stay there anytime again!

This hotel was nice, but not worth the amount of money we had to spend to stay. As Priority Members, it was disappointing to have such a tiny room, not well lit and not large enough for the two of us to be comfortable. Also, it was very disappointing that the shuttle service was not complimentary, so we chose to take public transportation instead (good that the bus stop is so close). The hotel van driver was very unfriendly (the one and ONLY time we used the shuttle service). The breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly. We are loyal Holiday Inn customers, but we will NEVER pay this amount of money again for the kind of room we were given. This was the only week we could get away and feel like we were taken advantage of because of an industry show going on in Munich.

Close to the airport, easily accessible thanks to the shuttle bus, small, limited restaurant if needed, small bar, good beer, adequate breakfast, very pleasant staff, comfortable room. What more could I ask for in an overnight stay?

After a ski vacation we had a two days stopover in Munich
Since the departure was early morning decided to accommodate in the airport.
The hotel is suprisingly convenient, very frendly staff,clean spacious room and a nice breakfast that is servrd since 4AM,
so is suitable for even very early departure,Airport is 5 minutes drive or shutle, the city centre is reachable by a short drive.All these for a very friendly price

I used reward points to book a room in this hotel. Not only the stay was comfortable, the two of us were offered complimentary breakfast which was like a bonus. Staff is highly courteous and speak very good English. The room and toilet are bit tight but offer a very good value for money. On the whole I would recommend this hotel for short stay particularly to those who have flight to take from Munich airport.

Moved our reservation to this property after (almost) checking in at the Holdiay Inn Messe. Wish I could write a scathing negative review about them!
Anyway, things were much improved at this location over Messe. Desk staff was pleasant and competent. Free wireless provided based on my priority club status... which is not necessarily the case throughout Germany.
Other than a substantial number of screaming children endured throughout breakfast and dinner hours, had a nice stay.
There's a FANTASTIC restaraunt .4k away... turn left when walking out the fron door. Would almost stay here again to visit them!
The 511 & 512 busses run right past the property to the airport...saving you a few euro vs the shuttle service.

This is my first choice hotel when I have to fly out of Munich! The park and fly option is so convenient and the shuttle to the airport is included in the cost (otherwise it's 5 euro each way). The free breakfast takes a little more of the stress away too. The restaurant and bar serve a tasty meal so there's no need to leave to find dinner once you're checked in. The planes go right over the top of the building to land but the insulation is so good you'll never hear it with your windows closed. It's so cool to watch though! Highly recommend this hotel and it's superior staff!
