Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Stay This Holiday Inn Express made our life very easy. With my student discount it was very reasonable. The free shuttle meant i did not need to rent a car and that was a real bonus.. The managers happy hour was excellent because she made the effort to come around, talk to people in a really personal way. Staff was courteous and helpful at all times. Cleaning was fine but the day of departure the cleaning staff knocked on my door 4 or 5 times to ask if I was ready to leave. I checked out before 11 after a week long stay so I felt that was the only down note. Over all one of the best Holiday Inn express locations I have stayed at. February 6, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mostly good stay The hotel and rooms were very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and very accomodating. The only problem we ran into was a fight that had broken out in the hallway on our floor at 3am. I called down to the front desk and security was already on their way up. They did resolve the problem very quickly. I know you cannot control the guests that use your hotel, so I don't fault the hotel for this. I believe they did kick them out because I did hear more voices coming from outside after they left. The hotel handeled the situation very well. February 4, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Value Overall Only a few things to nitpick. Toilet seats were a little small for a man my size, so they were a little uncomfortable. Remember to tuck the entire shower curtain into the tub, or you will have a nice, wet floor to come out to. Food tasted fine, just not a whole lot of variety. Overall though, the rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were very friendly and accommodating, and location worked well for my needs (business). Would recommend. February 1, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by shower question last year we stayed in room 102... the shower water pressure was excellent, which is very important to me b/c I have a bad back, and one of the primary reasons we stay at this hotel. this year we were on the 2nd floor, and the shower water pressure was very poor. I don't know if it was the difference in floors, or if something has changed in your water pressure, but I was looking forward to your hot showers and was extremely disappointed. I do not want general calls, but am glad to discuss this particular item. January 20, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No sound insulation whatever Stayed for two nights...probably worst two nights ever in a HIE. Room was on second floor, you could hear every single footstep above you from the people on the third floor due to no sound proofing between floors. And we had party goers above us both nights. Wife was there to run a marathon and got no sleep. Advise anyone who is not stone deaf to find another motel in Scottsdale to stay in. January 20, 2016
