Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Non-smokers put in smoking room when I booked the room there was nothing to indicate we did Not want a smoking room. When we got to the hotel the desk clerk said since I did not give a preference, she had to put us in a smoking room as they were full. I find that hard to believe since it was a Monday night. My allergies bothered me all night as I could smell the smoke. All other Holiday Inns where we have stayed indicate if the room is a smoking or non-smoking room. If it had not been so late in the evening, we would have stayed elsewhere. July 23, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unkempt Room - Poor Value Our room, a king suite, was in poor condition. No sheets were provided for the sleeper bed and the mattress cover was filthy. Room service responded to our request for sheets but the ones provided did not fit the bed. The carpet was stained and the room smelled musty. I really do expect more from a HIE, especially given the price. Staff was friendly and helpful but despite their efforts our stay was unpleasant and I will certainly think twice before booking with HIE again. July 23, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best place for a night before the cruise. Wonderful staff! They really take care of you here! They gave us all kinds of personally prepared information for transportation on the light rail and monorail, then gave us a list of good restaurants! They shuttled us to all of them!!!! The price is less than half of what it would cost to stay downtown. The rooms are fantastic. Quick trip to the airport, and 1/2 hours shuttle to the piers. Only disappointment, no pool. July 22, 2014

Since our flight back to Florida didn't leave until early the next morning, we decided to spend another night in Seattle. We chose the Holiday Inn Express near the airport so we wouldn't have to get up and face rush hour traffic. We were very pleased with the quality of service we received from check-in to breakfast to check-out. The room was more than expected because it was actually a suite. We rested well, had a good breakfast and free shuttle service to the airport. Would stay there again without question. July 19, 2014
