Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Don't Expect Hot Shower Two night stay and both mornings only luke warm water in the shower. Houskeeping didn't clean the coffee pot, but did leave a dirty rag behind right next to it. On previous visit waited one hour for shuttle from rail stop that's a five minute drive away. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Don't depend on wake-up call The room was convenient to the airport but was only average. We requested a wakeup call, which never came. Fortunately, we woke on time without the call. Also, it is not possible to completely close the darkening drapes. November 23, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Experience This hotel provided a comfortable, safe stay. The staff was very friendly and accomodating, and I would stay there again. I was very impressed by the variety of options offered for the continental breakfast. November 22, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient location for airport Stayed for one night before catching an early morning flight. Got upgraded to a suite which was fantastic. Only slight disappointment was the breakfast in terms of choice of cereal and use of disposable bowls and cutlery. November 21, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sea-Tac Airport This is generally what I would expect from a HI Express. The room was amply large, and had a little microwave in it. The weather was nice, and so I was glad that I could open the window (even on an upper floor). The carpet and furnishings are showing their age, though. Bathroom was fine, though a little small. It's a little annoying to have to move out of the way to open/close the bathroom door when you're inside the bathroom. Breakfast was standard for HI Express -- eggs and protein options, as well as fresh fruit, breakfast breads, and water/juices/coffee/teas. The coffee wasn't that great, unfortunately. (It's probably the same as used throughout the chain, but it tasted a little "off".) Small fitness center had a couple of treadmills and other machines. No other equipment. Shuttle service was available for the trip to the airport (or to other nearby locations). November 20, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by practical location We stayed on a Seahawks week-end for 2 nights. The free shuttle to the Light-Rail station was just 5 minutes. Then the Light rail downtown to Pioneer Square and Stadium was swift and cheap. And no parking hassles! Complimentary breakfast was definitely a cut above the competitors' We will stay here again - much cheaper than stadium-area hotels. November 20, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good everything, except the front desk clerk When I arrived from being gone all week in the area for work and had traveled four hours to get back to the hotel before fighting out the next day, I went up to the front desk and handed the clerk my IHG card & ID and advised her I needed to check-in. She took my information and asked if I had a credit card, I advised the I had had a CC authorization form faxed. She said "well there isn't one on file and we need one for you to check-in". I advised her I had been at three different Holiday Inn Express through out this last week and all of them Had received their and I had a conformation that it had been sent. She said that was my problem that they didn't get it. I a platinum elite member and my company has never had any problems with any stay. This female clerk has taken lack of custermer service to a new level. Thank goodness she is only at the SeaTac Holiday Inn Express location!! Watch out next time your at that location. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by delivered comfort as promissed- mobillity accessable My husband is mobility disabled and hates traveling. This hotel made it great. They had an accessible shuttle from the airport, ( make sure to tell them you need that shuttle as they have 2 shuttles). The room was also everything we needed and even more. Never has my husband been happier in a hotel. The room was what you hope for when booking but never seem to get, but this time we got it all, the roll-in shower, and the hand held shower head and the fold down shower bench, the area to move throughout the entire room. The staff was friendly even though we arrived in the late evening, even offered to take us to a store when we went down to ask about something to walk to for a few supplies. Turned out we only needed to walk to the corner for what we wanted, and we really wanted the walk after flying all day, but they took the time to direct us and welcomed us back in when we returned. Breakfast was great and there were lots of options. I don’t know when we will get back to Seattle, but we will be staying here again when I do. November 18, 2014
