Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by How hard should it be to make and fulfill a reservation? My reservation was screwed up three separate times, despite being made over the phone, and as a result the prices were all significantly higher than they were represented to me at the time of the original reservation. After three attempts to fix the reservation before arriving, the prices were still higher than originally promised and the dates were incorrect. After arriving, I tried to rectify the dates, which were finally done by the second night. With regard to the prices, each time I tried to speak with the staff at the hotel to resolve the issue, I was told that there was no one on the premises with the power to help me. It is beyond unacceptable that at no point during my 5 day stay was there anyone on the premises with the power to resolve my issue. I was given excuses like "it's Saturday" and "it's Labor Day Weekend" which, to me, seems like it would make having a manager all the more important for a hotel. I have waited for phone calls from two separate managers, after two separate promises from hotel staff that they would personally ensure the phone call when the manager was available the next day. Neither of these managers ever bothered to call, nor did the employees call to explain why. I have spoken to over FIVE employees in person, and three others over the phone, and my rates are still higher than they were supposed to be at the time of the original reservation. This also does not include the fact that some of the nights were simply lost, and had to be re-made, at even higher prices. Frankly, the entire ordeal is completely ridiculous, and no real attempt has been made to resolve the issue by the hotel. The hotel itself was not bad, but frankly, the fact that I have spent literally several hours over the course of my stay trying to rectify a situation that never should have occurred in the first place, and the fact that I have still, at this moment, been forced to pay significantly more than the price that was quoted to me at the time of reservation, in addition to the fact that I have been promised a phone call TWICE and still not gotten one makes this hotel not worth the trouble. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Excellent stay From check in to airport transfer, everything at this hotel was a breeze. Little touches in the room are well received and the room was exceptionally quiet given the close proximity to the airport. Breakfast was a great value with pleasant staff who sent us to the airport with a complimentary starbucks coffee in hand. I would definitely recommond this hotel to anyone needing a SEA-TAC overnight. September 4, 2014

The guest room bathroom showers are spectacular. Only gripe is that WiFi internet signal was very weak which is strange because our room was not at the end of the building. I forgot to ask the names of the young man and lady at the front desk - but they were such a delight. Both were very helpful in giving us directions back to the hotel from the car rental location. The lady at the front desk had a wonderful personality - it was such a pleasure speaking with her. Also the room was beautiful. The bed was amazing. I had a great night's sleep. August 31, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Newly remodled hotel, expensive, small rooms, pay extra for parking Newly remodeled hotel, looks nice. Rooms are small, do not get a King room in the corners, too small. They make you pay an additional $20 a day for parking. Breakfast is 15$ They put a charging station in the desk to help charge your digital devices.... mine didn't work properly when using the provided USB ports... then when I hooked up 2 USB devices to charge, it didn't work at all. Nice hotel, too expensive, then charge too much for breakfast and charge extra to Park..... not very nice August 23, 2014

I read about the recent renovations and the positive changes are obvious. Our king room was cozy and comfortable. The new bathroom was modern and very nice. We arrived a little early and had to wait for our room. Hats off to April working the front desk. She was awesome! For our inconvenience she gave us a few drink vouchers for the bar. The rest of the staff was also friendly and attentive. The shuttle was right on time in the morning. We dropped off our rental car after checking in so we didn't have to worry about parking. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed but overpriced We got this room by using awards points. Very nice appealing room. Good sleeping bed. Down points: Bathroom door did not lock and it was not on hinges. It was on rollers. Shower was never cleaned. Black hair all over and in the drain. My family refused to shower for our day and the hotel was booked full, so we couldn't change rooms. Very dissapointed. A lot of people were complaining that breakfast being $17.99 and for the price of the room it should have been free. A lot of hotels in the area offer free breakfast and the room for lot less. The WiFi service in the room was weak at best and I had to go in the hall in order to maintain connection. As soon as I stepped bak in the room the service would disconnect. I tried this with three different devices and even showed a staff member while up in the room. The room was cramped, the desk size was insufficient to accommodate the coffee pot and my computer. Considering the room size, WiFi and staffs inability to address the WiFi issue - I found the room to be very over priced. Restaurant service staff was exceptional. We liked the location as there was quick and easy access to the Light Rail which we always use while we're in Seattle. Our hotel room was comfortable, the bath was very clean and efficiently designed so that it didn't feel like we were cramped inside. Your staff is also very friendly and helpful, from your reception desk to your shuttle drivers, from your main bartender and waitresses to your room cleaners. We felt very welcome our entire stay. Location was great. Close to the airport but air traffic noise did not seem to be present. Elevators arrived in a timely manner and appeared to be be in very good working order. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by wake up Checked in 11 August 2014 late, after a very long flight. Asked if they had an Executive floor. They said yes but no Executive lounge. Disappointing. In the room I noticed a card saying there was a wake up guarantee. If the wake up call did not arrive, the room rate would be refunded. I called the desk and asked for a 6:30 AM wake up. I normally use my I Phone as a backup but since they seemed confident in waking me up I did not do so. Fortunately, I woke up at 6 AM. Needed to meet in the lobby at 7 AM so left the room at 6:55. Never received the wake up call. Spoke to the clerk and he went in the back room for some time and then came out and said he couldn't find the records. Had he offered me the guarantee, I probably wouldn't have accepted as I had already awoken but it was not offered. He mumbled something about maybe giving me some points. By that timeI had to catch the shuttle and left. I also found out that they did not have me listed as a gold member. Had to show them my card. Not impressed!!! August 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good night sleep Our final stop on our vacation before catching a flight in the morning. The beds were perfect and we slept great. I didn't hear any planes at all. My husband said he heard some but still slept good. Breakfast was good with a nice variety and held is asking with snacks later until we got home 8 hrs later. The only thing not as good was the bathroom cleanliness. There were something that had run down the front on the panel by the sink and was missed by the staff. Pretty minor overall. August 15, 2014
