Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by In Town for Business Having stayed here before, I expected the same experience. I was wrong. I was staying here while in town for business and the internet connection was virtually non existent, even when connected with an Ethernet cable. Having no connection made it very difficult for me to work. When I called the front desk, they told me that I had to call technical support to get them to look into the problem. Really?? After two days of either no internet or spotty internet, I went to check out a day early when I came back to the hotel around 3:30pm. The front desk proceeded to tell me that I couldn't check out because housekeeping had already left. What??? After telling the front desk that I was checking out and I needed a receipt, it took them approximately 20 minutes to figure it out. As a Platinum Elite member, I was very disappointed in my stay here. October 20, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by nothing special The hotel did nothing wrong, but I expect more from a Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express when we travel. I expect something to wow me, and it didn't happen at this hotel. It was just another hotel. As just another hotel, the value wasn't there for us. Didn't like the room pictures or the large vases in the lobby. Both were turn offs to us. The room was comfortable and the lake view with the sun rising was very nice. The desk clerk was friendly and breakfast bar lady was very good. I can't complain, but it wasn't anything special, or note worthy, for a Holiday Inn Express. September 15, 2014

Only issue I had was the printer in the Business center did not work. Staff helped and tried to resolve the issue; but it did not work . Other than that, everything was good. August 24, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor manager. I have stayed at this hotel once before and thought it was really nice. The second time I stayed there, the electricity went out in the early morning for over an hour. I had to eat a cold breakfast. I asked for a discount so I could go out and eat a hot breakfast and was told "no." I waited for the manager to come out and talk to me about it, but he would not and so I had to leave for my appointment, which is why I stayed there. I will never stay there again. Just out of customer courtesy, I should have gotten a discount on the price of the room at check out. August 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staff When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by Jessica. She went out of her way to change our room from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor so we could watch our antique car better. Every time we came and went she always spoke a greeting to us. Made you feel at home. Breakfast was delicious and the pancake maker was something new we had never seen. Much easier to make than waffles. Had a great stay and when we return to see our friends or attend events, we will stay here again. July 30, 2014

I have stayed at many Hotels in the past which do not compare to the level of Hospitality offered from the stay at this location. All staff treated me like I was a close personal friend. Chelsa at the front desk is the BEST !!! If there was one negative to bring up is that the quality of the water is poor. :-( The water smells of stagnant swamp. I suggest bring your own bottled water for brushing your teeth. Other, than the water, The Accommodations were EXCELLENT !! July 11, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wow! This is the first time we visited Sebring, and because the Hotel was so nice and comfortable we stayed another night! It is close to everything, Very nice pool, and the beds were very comfortable. We were greeted by name and a personal letter when we arrived which was a very pleasant. It has a very elegant lobby where you can relax and settle in with a newspaper or book. The breakfast tasted homemade! I highly recommend this facility! June 25, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Room to rest on the way to Miami I stay in HIE hotels throughout the US on business. This trip was a stopping point on vacation using points (I'm a platinum member). This hotel was the typically standardized HIE but it appeared to have either been completely renovated recently or the bedding, furniture, breakfast area, lobby, etc. were all extremely well kept and new in appearance. The front desk staff and the breakfast area staff were all excellent. The features such as breakfast and shampoo, etc, are identical to what you will get at any other HIE. The hotel is on the North side of Sebring with an adjacent Denny's and a Dollar General across the street. The downtown area is about 2 miles but there is not a whole lot downtown other than a Red Lobster and Outback. Overall, I would say this hotel is one of the better HIE hotels that you will find in the HIE line. June 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Super Staff in Peaceful Surroundings My daughter and I had to sort many boxes of personal papers from my mother's apartment. The evening desk staff generously allowed us to take over a corner of the lobby for our work. Each night, when we had accumulated a large box of trash, the desk clerks helped us pour the trash into one of their waste bins. Finally, on the fourth night of this sorting marathon, when we had a box full of paper to be shredded, the desk clerk shredded it for us! This saved us yet another stop and more expenditures for a shredding service. We cannot thank them enough for their help and support. The pool is very nice - quiet and peaceful since the hotel is located away from the highway. Our room looked over a lovely, undeveloped bit of land. Very relaxing after a hard day's work.
