I am always met with great service and support. Since I am visiting regularly, the staff has made an effort to get to know me and routinely acts proactively to my routine and needs.
Definitely liked the ham at breakfast and would like to get it back on the menu.

I always enjoy staying here it's very nice so clean and the night I checked in there was a very cute woman she was outgoing and had a smile that lit up the room well if everything else it's a great quite very clean place.. plus they have chocolate milk !!!

Our extended family stays here about once a year. We are always thrilled when Thoy, their delightful breakfast lady, recognizes us in such a friendly way. I won't even mention that it is one of the cleanest, most well-presented breakfast bars around. Other pluses are the comfortable beds, extra clean rooms, and perfect water temperature in both the pool and hot tub. But we appreciate Thoy the most!!

We always stay here when we are deer hunting. Front desk staff is always very friendly and can tell you anything you need to know. All of the staff is great and always go above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable and have everything we need.

We have stayed here several times. Sedalia was our home for some 70+ years until 2 1/2 years ago before moving to OP, KS.
We visit friends and family quite often and sometimes stay over.
Rather than inconvenience anyone we just stay at HIE. All of our
other stays have been wonderful. We called down to the desk two
times regarding children running thru the halls and yelling, laughing, etc. No parental supervision. Someone finally came upstairs and got the issue under control. It was after 11 PM at
that time. We need to get up early the next morning to attend
church services with family, so we were ready to go to sleep
prior to that time.

Overall, good accommodations.
Location is a little difficult to get into and out of.
3 1/2 month prior reservation for 4 nights was not on HIE computer. When supporting email was acquired, desk clerk only booked for 1 night. Re-booking on second day resulted in additional cost and hassles re-entering room to make a mid-day business conference call. NO offer to comp any charges or offers of apology.
Will re-think HIE alternatives for next trip.

Nice rooms only had an issue with refrigerator was making noise off and on. I am a light sleeper so this did not help. Other wise nice rooms and staff was great

Thoy and Fern provided excellent service. I'm an early riser and it was nice to have Fern at the front desk and Thoy in the food area in the early morning. Both were friendly and helpful.

Poor in-room wireless service. Couldn't get any work done becasue of the weak internet/wireless service signal, VPN would keep dropping. May choose another hotel for that fact alone. Also, cobwebs in ceiling corners above bed.

I spend approximately 2 or 3 months in Sedalia each year and always stay here! The staff is wonderful, breakfast delicious and the chef is always accomodating and friendly. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the location is superb.

The staff and services were excellent. The pool and room were very clean. I have to comment though on the sensitivity of the management/owners which influenced my choice to write this review. We stayed one night and the check out time for day 2 had already passed, and then we learned that our farm and home had suffered extensive damage due to a storm. The management/owners allowed us to cancel our second night without any charge. We were able to save our money and spend it on a hotel room closer to our home, which allowed us to get home to start cleaning up sooner. We really appreciated this courtesy. Thank you very much.

Our mother is in the nursing home in Sedalia at Sylvia Thompson Facility .And our recent visit we made was for a family reunion and the loss of our brother .So Thank you and your staff for making us comfortable and welcomed.
