This was my first time at this location and i absolutely LOVED IT... Staff was very friendly from check in to check out. Breakfast area was great along with their staff. Room was better than expected. Lots of Space. Hotel smelled clean.

We stopped for the night on our way to Corpus Christie and liked it so much we stayed another two days. Staff recommended the San Antonio River Walk which we enjoyed so much we were there 6 hours the first day and another 3 the following day.
We would definetly come back !

I am in San Antonio quite often. I pick this place because of it's location. Good choices to eat and it's not far from Loop 1604 that helps me in my travels around the city of San Antonio.

I have stayed at this locations several times over the past few years. Like all HI Express properties, it is reliable, with good expected amenities. Unfortunately, on my last stay at the end of 2012, I had a slightly negative experience. I notified the front desk both the night we checked in (admittedly, it was late) and the following day that the TV would power on, but was giving the "no signal" error. They never addressed the issue; but apologized upon my departure...

Picking hotels sight unseen can make for unpleasant surprises. I've done my share of traveling for both business and pleasure at home and abroad and I can say this hotel was perfect. Its not high-end, but it is casually very classy. The nearby restaurants were within an easy walk and the property is just off the interstate and very convenient and easy to navigate. There was also a nice mall and sporting goods store nearby to pass a little free time.
Very competent and courteous staff. I don't usually stay at HEI's, but I would definitely stay at this one again and would highly recommend it to anyone.

We have stayed at this Holiday Inn before and liked it enough to stay again. Rooms were quiet and clean with breakfast having good choices and quality of food. I had booked this hotel online and paid for it at the same time. Unfortunately, one of the staff members at the hotel decided to charge me again after we checked out, which was only discovered after a check of our credit card activity. We are waiting for a refund at this time.

My husband and I recently spent 3 nights at this hotel, our stay was very pleasent, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast was wonderful. The grounds are kept clean and the parking is spacious. I would recomend this hotel to anyone staying in the Selma area.

Hooter's, Cheddar's, and Academy within walking distance. There were four white tail deer in field at the back of the hotel that evening. New hotel, clean, good beds, good furniture, etc.
Great location to do business in San Antonio and New Braunfels. Nice pool area. 4:30 a.m. in the morning it takes about 6 minuets to get hot water to the shower for a room on the 3rd floor.

From the moment we called for a reservation to the day we left, this was a great experience. The front desk representative presented us with a goodie bag upon arrival. She also moved us from handicap room to a room of the same size, but without the handicap accessories which we did not need.
The breakfast area was clean and the food was good. We used the exercise room and the executive suite is great. You're not cramped and it's much easier to relax.
We don't get to San Antonio often, but if we're on the same side of town, this Holiday Inn Express will be our first choice.
