Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Accomidating What can I say, again the staff is top notch. I was greeted by a wonderful young lady who was very nice yet professional. They were able to meet my request for the top floor. The desk clerk was able to give me a few options for dinner. The room was clean and comfortable and the beds were AMAZING..... Breakfast was great, loved the cinnamon rolls and the fresh fruit. This is definitely my stop when in the area. March 10, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not up to standards I am sure the staff tries. The problem lies mostly in the location of the hotel. After trying to book using our points and told that one night was 25000 points, we expected a fabulous room and hotel. I decided I needed to view the room after seeing the area and after reading that the pool was not available due to maintenance issues. A very nice lady took me up to the 3rd (top) floor to see our room. It looked smaller than normal -shabby but clean - she said she had not checked that room herself and proceeded to get down on her hands and knees to check under the bed. That was impressive in itself. For some reason, I decided to lift the toilet lid and was shocked to see that the toilet seat was cracked across one side. At that point, we were assigned the room next door and it was checked before I accepted it. Again it was smaller than most Holiday Inn Express hotels I have stayed and clean but shabby. We left to go to dinner. The steakhouse recommended is a steakhouse/saloon and not where we wanted to be. We ended up at a very old McDonalds which had a very small menu but that was okay. We did have fresh cookies from the hotel so that was nice and received water the next morning when leaving. I would never stay in this hotel if traveling alone. I would not feel safe. Actually, my husband and I will plan our trips to be sure we do not stay in Shamrock. March 9, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A welcome stop The room was clean and comfortable and the staff, those we saw and associated with, were cheerful and friendly. The lobby and reception area were also bright and clean. The hall carpets , however, could have used a little more attention and the elevator carpeting was in need of some close attention. Having said this, we would stay here again if it fit our travel plan. March 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by hotel clean and great service When I checked in I was recognized as a priority club member which some hotel clerks don't do. Made me feel special. When I got to the room, it was great. The room smelled so good I didn't want to leave to go get dinner. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up and get on the road when I woke up. The breakfast was great and the breakfast person went around and asked everyone if they had everything they needed and this was a rarity. I don't see that in many hotels and it was nice to be asked if I needed anything. The food was good, hot and plentiful. When I turned my room key in, the desk clerk asked if I would like bottled water to take with me and wished me a safe trip and asked me to come and stay with them again. I told her if I was in this vicinity again I would most certainly stay with them. March 3, 2015

She opened the kitchen and gave me some fruit since the weather and road conditions were bad and few restaurants were open. Very thoughtful and much appreciated. February 28, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Two Nights Hotel is nice and the room was fine. I was next to the elevator and never really heard it. The breakfast is the same as all the other Holiday Inn Express hotels I have stayed at, which is at least consistent. The only issue was about the hotel wanting a personal credit card for incidentals. My job pays for the hotel but not incidentals and I and my co-workers were told the next time we stay there if we do not provide a personal credit card for incidentals we would not be allowed to stay. Guess we will be looking for another hotel next time. I will stay at the other Holiday Inns because they never give us problems about incidental charges and it seems to be isolated to this one. Still enjoyed the stay overall and only gave them a 3 star rating because of the credit card issue. February 25, 2015
