Have been frequently staying in this hotel since March 2012 due to my work requirements. Overall I am satisfied with the hotel however, they need to change their pillows and bedsheets as I felt their pillow were rather flat and not an actual pillow to sleep on. It made my neck rather stiff in the mornings. As for the bedsheets, although it is clean but the material made it feel like sandpaper that scratches against your skin while moving around.
What I was not too happy about was that I would expect when staying in a non-smoking room on a non-smoking floor that it would be entirely smoke free. Unfortunately, that is not always the case as you can get visitors that actually smoke in their room which, unfortunately, does spread over to the other rooms. And as being a Priority Club Platinum member and a regular customer that stays for more than 2 weeks at a time (overall for 2012, I have spent a total of 100+ nights at this hotel), I felt there's not enough recognition not only for the amount of time spent but also for the overall cost that I have paid.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times. It is a good value for such an expensive city. The hotel is always clean, the staff always responsive. Now that a subway station has opened a few blocks away it is convenient for mass transit.

it is difficult to get a taxi. but it is in walking distance to a subway station and a shuttle bus is offered to go to the subway station.
the room is relatively small.

I stayed in a non-smoking level, but customers in other rooms smoked; it irritates me. Management should enforce no-smoking policy.
I stayed in the hotel for over 10 days, the breakfast choices are almost the same, it gets old after a few days. Also, there is no creativity at all from the cooking staff. Don't cook the same stuff everyday. The quality can be better.

Close to shopping mall and also not far from metro line 3 & 4. You can ask for river view room, and enjoy old-shanghai feeling.

Room is clean but too small. I got a room facing river which is awesome. It's a typical Holiday Inn Express. Cost is very reasonable.

Easy hotel for business and coiples, not many facilities but internet free and really quite area, jogging near the river in morning you can see the ral shanghai styleife.

冲着优悦会白金会员享受可以延迟到次日下午4点退房，原本准备安心地待到下午4点，结果1点刚过，打扫的阿姨连门都不敲，直接冲进房间，还好锁着链条锁，不然真的被吓死了。解释完了我可以4点退房，阿姨终于才关门而出。
然后到了下午2点，前台打来电话，催我什么时候退房，我只能再解释一遍，结果被告知只能最多延迟到下午3点，因为客房安排的原因。
觉得挺奇怪的，住了那么多优悦会的酒店，这还是第一次被告知要提前退房。

绿地普陀智选假日酒店地处苏州河边，很幽静，景色不错。
离酒店不远有地铁站，对于没有驾车的客人出行较方便。
酒店体现了快捷酒店的风格，房间虽不是很大，但很时尚现代，对于白领与普通商务人士是一个不错的选择。

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room, the comfort of the pillows and the sound proofing of the rooms. I am able to sleep well even though this is not my own bed. I recommend this hotel on this point mainly.

If you check out / go out of hotel in the morning by taxi, you had better not stay here.
Taxi never comes here in early busy time.
I had to wait for one hour to get just a taxi.
And service level is as per fare, so do not expect too much.
(Receptionist is busy for playing game and no greeting is normal here.)

I visited Shanghai recently for a business trip. When my friend recommended me to stay in the Putuo Holiday Inn Express, I was surprised by the price, which is really reasonable. When I arrived, I was impressed by the service and environment. The staff is professional, yet hospitable. Location is very convenient, Metro is just walking distance away. The staff could also help chartering vehicles, 24hrs. service. Thank you so much. You really make a traveller feels at home!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I like Chinese breakfast options so it was no problem for me, but my parents and sister found slim pickings - just toast, really. All you need to add is some fresh fruit and perhaps some croissants or something.
Otherwise we had a great stay here, convenient to subway, clean comfortable rooms.
Front desk guy a little eager to please and processed my bill on my credit card without asking how I'd prefer to pay (cash, to avoid fees). I only stayed one night, so no biggie, but I'd have preferred the choice.
I recommend this place and would stay again.

check in时被告知金卡会员不用付押金，这种感觉很好。有家的感觉，一直很喜欢洲际的所有酒店。虽然holiday inn express的是快捷酒店，但是也有种宾至如归的感觉。对ihg认可！
不过打车很不方便，叫车也很久不来，期望改进。

I usually stay at least for about two weeks in this hotel, but the breakfast remains the same, It is poorly prepared. I also stay in Wujiaochang Holiday Express, where more variety of breakfast is available. During the recent stay in Putuo, I had to walk more than half hour away from the hotel to get some breakfast. Other people in my company had the same bad feeling about the breakfast. We are thinking of staying in other hotels during our next trip.
We all made some comments at the hotel, but nothing changed.

The river-side hotel offers great view and environment for you to relax.
I've arrived quite late on the day and got an upgraded river-view room, nice!
Also the hotel is close to L11 Longde station, you'd better take the metro as it is quite hard to call a taxi in front of the hotel.

With free in-room Internet and breakfast (so so), this hotel is a pleasant surprise. It is a short walk to metro line 11, which involves 2 or 3 transfers if you want to go to many parts of town. But overall, it is an affordable and functional choice. Staff gets job done, but can use a bit more friendliness, such as recognizing Priority Club members. Sometimes the wait is long, as if everybody at the reception desk are helping the party in front of me, rather than moving through the line more quickly.

We stayed here for the Chinese grand prix. It is 5 mins walk from the subway line that takes you directly to the circuit. We were back in the hotel 40 mins after the race ended!
Not many eating places near the hotel but plenty across the main road near Carrefour.

早餐是在我住过所有快捷里面最差的，没有之一
房间够大，queen size床也可以
洗手间太小了，而且光线很暗
11房说是河景，但角度是偏的，不如其他河景房。同前台反映，得到的回答是“当然是河景房啦”
官网预定，前台居然说看不到会员号
整体感觉一般，不过如果下次去周边可能还会考虑
