I had my room reserved for at least 2 weeks before I got there. And had packages sent to the hotel in my name to get on the day I check in. When I arrived it was very late at night and I just wanted to get some rest and didn't check the bathroom
When I got there, I find out that they have a full house, and the only room left is supposedly a handicapped room with a shower that had no edges, or anywhere to put soap and shampoo. It looked like someone tore the shower out, and put a curtain to stop the water from splashing everywhere.
I am 6'2" tall and the shower came to top of my stomach. I had to crouch to take a shower. There's nowhere to sit or lean either.
In the morning I called the front desk asking for another room to shower in, they said they were full. This was the most inconvenient stay at any hotel I've ever had.
That shower should be "completed" because if you put a handicapped person in it, they would simply lay on the floor.

This is always my first choice of hotels to stay at. It's comforting to know that you can always count on Holiday Inn to provide the best in all areas. I'm never disappointed.

My stay was made comfortable, with clean and well made up rooms, wood like to see more TV channels, personal were openly polite and well dress. Would continue to make my stays in Shawnee at this facility knowing the personal being friendly and caring.

first off, i came to front desk about 4:45am, and the person working was sleeping in the back. It took me about 15min to wake her up and i asked for late checkout, she said ok, i can give you 1pm. i said great and went to my room and went to bed.
Well at 930am the housekeeping staff was banging on my door wanting to get in. this is uncalled for, check out normally is not until 11am, so they should not have any reason to knock on any door until that time.
i got a call from front desk at 1130 am and was asking if i was checking out, i told them to was granted a late checkout and apparently the sleeping employee at the desk in the early morning never wrote it down.
I checked out at 1pm. i will come back, however this ever happens again i will go to corportate and stop staying at the holiday inns all together.

We enjoy the hotel, the room, the nearby restaurants. This is our second stay here. We will stop here again on our cross-country trips.

As I have mentioned in every review I have given for the Holiday Inn Express, we always enjoy the stay, but not the coffee. We have asked many times why you do not change it, but we have NEVER had a response.
When you stay in a hotel as nice as the Holiday Inn Express is, you expect to have good coffee. Even McDonalds has better coffee than your hotel. Again I ask, please, please, please change it. It is just like drinking hot or warm water. The coffee in the room is not good, and the coffee in the dining area is not that much better.
I do not like to be negative, but I think it is time for you to make a change. Thank you for your consideration.

The heater in the room was so dusty that it blew flecks of black debris on the duvet during the night. When I returned to my room after cleaning the debris was still on the duvet.
Overhead light was full of dead bugs.
Housekeeping staff were loud, banging doors and complaining.
Front desk staff were very helpful.
