Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible Service!! I normally would not complain as I am a pretty easy person to please. However, on our trip to this location I found many things wrong. One in particular caused my disgust. Check-in was okay, although I was not recognized as a Platinum Member, but I figured oh well, not a big deal. The main problem came afterward. We stayed for two nights and every time I came down stairs or went up after being out, the clerk would stare at me like I didn't belong! One even had the nerve to ask what I was doing as I pushed the elevator button! I told them I was staying there and the look I got was full of shock and rudeness. Now I will be the first to admit that I do not dress the best and like to wear sweatpants when I am on my days off. We were in town to visit my girlfriend's parents as I had gotten a couple of days off, but it was no excuse for the staff to act in such a disrespectful manner!! My girlfriend received hellos when entering and leaving and I received stares. I am very displeased and am going to take my money and membership somewhere else. IHG has been good to me in the past years, but unless this is made right I will not tolerate it. I would of reported the issue straight to management if one of them had not been one of the ones who thought it polite to stare in disbelief. I know I am a young Black man, but I can stay at a hotel as I work hard for my money and travel a decent amount. This experience was certainly the worst. May 24, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by unclean and no improvement on aging room We have stayed at this hotel location approximately 10-12 nights in the past 2 yrs due to having grandchildren move to Shelbyville. Rates continue to sky rocket with nothing done to improve the poor conditions in the room or even in the hotel. First impressions of cleanliness are not there. This most recent stay found the desk person with a pile of used card holders marking thru room numbers and internet codes to give me one......why?? The room had long black hair in the tub and in the bathroom sink along with dried coffee stains in the sink of the bathroom. Bathroom sink had no drain stop...the tub had several chips and the molding around the walls was still dirty. NO MONEY has been spent to improve on cleaning or updating this facility. While this review will not change anything, we can certainly choose to stay elsewhere. Guess we kept hoping things would change May 21, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff - great management - great vacation We were more than pleasantly surprised to stay at this facility. Had a blast - visiting Louisville for Dawn at the Downs/ Kentucky Oaks / Kentucky Derby. Good restaurant recommendations; also a great recommendation = "you have to get a pink tie for the Oaks"... I did.... The staff - above all - were accommodating, friendly, and most of all, upbeat. They got me to relax and that led to enjoyment of the best vacation I've had in years. Again - thanks. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfort and Food We enjoyed the room and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good. We would prefer an indoor pool. Also, it would be helpful if the clocks in the room were synchronized. (It caused a few scary moments before we realized 1 clock was correct, one was an hour off.) May 6, 2015
