The hotel staff were great people, Thanks! The only down fall was the workout room equipment didn't all work and the hot tub was down. otherwise this was a good hotel to stay at.

We want to commend Spencer on his EXCELLENT front desk Customer Service. We stay at the Holiday Inn Express every weekend during basketball season and SPENCER always provides outstanding (5 star) customer service. Everyone is great too, but Spencer deserves extra praise.

The heating unit in my room was very noisy, Every time it came on at night it woke me up.
The desk clerk checked me out a day early then had difficulty correcting the bill.

For the 3 weeks I stayed, the staff remembered my name and understood what I needed everytime I stayed at this location. If I had an issue, the staff made sure it was taken care of without hesitation. If I return to Sherman again in 2015, I will make it a point to stay here again and recommend this location to others.

My husband & I were one of many travelers stranded on I-75 No. during an ice storm in Dec. I called 6 hrs. earlier to book a room as I knew we were headed for worse conditions. Our plan was to drive as far as we could before it got worse. Before we knew it, we sat on the interstate for 5 hrs. - we had already reached the "worse conditions" as our mobile GPS had lost service a few miles prior.
We managed to turn around and get to an access road.
I called the hotel to see if they were still holding our room. Stormy said she still had our room, a king size, everything ready - all we had to do was sign in once we got there. I explained our dilemma, she calmly gave me directions how to get to the hotel. She greeted us at 4:30 am with a smile and told us she had coffee ready for us and that she'd have a hot breakfast ready for us in couple of hrs. That was so comforting! We had been distraught from driving on the road for 14 hrs., most of which was on ice. Stormy had been working 20 hrs. straight but she still had a smile on her face and was so nice to us and to the many other travelers that managed to get to the hotel off the icy interstate.
The hotel was booked solid. A couple of motorists that were stranded for hours in the frigid temperatures were picked up by the police and dropped off at this hotel. There were no rooms available, but Stormy welcomed them to stay on the couch in the lobby and kept the coffee pot full.
At 7am we were awoken to a screeching fire alarm! We ran to the hall - a hotel representative was already in the hallway who told us there was no fire, it was just a water pipe busted. The pipe was fixed within just a few minutes. They had fans going to dry the water on the floors from the busted water pipe. We're impressed at how smoothly the situation was handled.
At 9:30 am we went downstairs for breakfast and Stormy was working quickly to replenish the hot food. We all got to eat a big hot breakfast before heading out on the icy roads to get home.
We just can't thank Stormy enough for making us all feel safe and comfortable when we needed it the most. If we were ever in a desperate situation again, we'd want this Stormy on our side!
