We had 3 rooms for 2 nights and was very pleased with all aspects of our stay. Easy check in, clean rooms and bathrooms, excellent breakfast with wide variety of choices, and courteous and helpful desk clerks. Only problem was one of our party was awaked by noise in the adjoining room (luckily about time to get up).

On making the reservations several days in advance and in person'; was told by the "manager" that using the point system would only allow a "few" of the rooms and they, the rooms, may not be available for the nights I wanted. I told him "that's fine, I'll call the 800 number to make my reservations and report his demeanor". At that point ever room in the hotel was made available. I love the Holiday In Express and have used them exclusively, But I will not ever use this one again nor recommend it.

A little disappointed that check-in was not as quick as other Holiday Inn Express for Priority Club members. My last name is hyphenated & even with my Priority Club confirmation # as well as all names the reservation could be in, the desk clerk was unable to locate. Another desk clerk was able to find our reservation and later received a call from the GM of the hotel advising she was comping us one evening and adding additional points back to membership for the inconvvenience. The additional points were added, however, the one night was not comped. Left a few messages for the GM to call me back about this and have yet to receive a return call.
Also, as a Priority Club member, all the other Holiday Inn Express Hotels we have stayed with have given us a bottle of water at check in. This was not offered.

The staff was very nice and helpful, we didn't have reservations because we didn't know which direction we were going home after our trip. But we got tired and stopped in Sherman. The lady that helped us was very nice and got us a nice handicap room. Sunday morning the breakfast was great the man in charge had everything filled and kept it that way. Nice place to stay, great staff!!!

We stayed here while driving through, just for the night. 3 major problems got us ...
1.) It caught our eye for the indoor pool (for the kids) and the hot tub (for the adults). Well - the pool was green! So green that our 3yro was able to point it out as being "cool looking" ... and the hot tub was broken, not fun after a 10 hour drive that day.
2.) The microwaves kept over heating and shutting off. We tried 2 differnet microwaves thnking it may be just 1, nope. We switched and check all plugs in our room. It took an hour to warm up 3 tv dinners. :(
3.) The beds were wobbly. The kids crawled intheirs and it was almost a rocking bed. Hard to get cozy when the bed moves.
NOW - the staff was amazingly friendly. Very polite.
I have stayed at various HIE and always been happy, why we didn;t think twice about this stop. I will continue to stay at HIE, despite this. BUT those issues need to be addressed.

When I arrived obviously the room had not been cleaned properly because there was stuff (read between the lines) on the toilet. It took two days to get the room cleaned properly and then came the billing nightmare 8 charges on my credit card that took 3 weeks to partially correct, I'm still working on getting it corrected along with getting a receipt........not a good stay!

Very nice lobby and clean, quiet rooms. Close to the places you want to shop and dine, but not too far from major highway access.

I have only 2 complaints about this brand new hotel.
1) The front desk staff needs to be replaced. The girl is never at the desk. She is always on the phone in the back talking to friends. When I went to check out, there were 2 people waiting. I asked them if they had been helped and they said no. I started yelling for someone to come and the girl poked her head around the corner with the phone to her ear. I told her there were customers waiting and I got the look of evil from her! Sorry for bothering you to do your job! I found this to be the same on 2 visits both during check in and check out. As a Platinum member, I wasnt even offered a bottle of water.
2) I have a strong distaste for powdered eggs. If you cant serve real eggs, dont bother.
