I only stay at this hotel and the staff has ALWAYS provided me with excellent customer service. I have stayed in several room types from Suites to Regular Kings and they are all EXCELLENT rooms. Since my several stays we have become like family and I would recommend this hotel 1000 time over to my friends and family. July 8, 2014

I put 1 point into breakfast category because you guys have the same garbage food as any other HI hotel. I want that all the chain would not serve to customers (fake GM) garbage food in the mornings. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Consistent and even improving more! We enjoy the Holiday Express chain and this one is excellent. They are still going to improve the downstairs area some more! We have stayed here before and find all to our comfort and satisfaction. Front desk people are always willing to help! They go above and beyond and we will continue to use this motel every visit to Sherman. Nice places to eat nearby and they are good with recommendations for that! Pool users can mess up the floors with water drips, so be careful in the elevators., but it depends on the age involved. Front desk can monitor and wipe up when alerted. May 24, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff We stayed here for three days during my mother-in-law's stay at the nearby hospital. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a better room due to our IHG rewards level. The room was spacious and just right for our needs. We needed an extra blanket and called the front desk. They quickly delivered one and would not accept a tip. Spencer was at the front desk each evening during our stay and he was very professional, caring, and attentive. Thank you. We will stay here again. May 16, 2014

If I had an issue, the staff made sure it was taken care of without hesitation. If I return to Sherman again in 2015, I will make it a point to stay here again and recommend this location to others. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stormy was wonderful during the icy weather! My husband & I were one of many travelers stranded on I-75 No. during an ice storm in Dec. I called 6 hrs. earlier to book a room as I knew we were headed for worse conditions. Our plan was to drive as far as we could before it got worse. Before we knew it, we sat on the interstate for 5 hrs. - we had already reached the "worse conditions" as our mobile GPS had lost service a few miles prior. We managed to turn around and get to an access road. I called the hotel to see if they were still holding our room. Stormy said she still had our room, a king size, everything ready - all we had to do was sign in once we got there. I explained our dilemma, she calmly gave me directions how to get to the hotel. She greeted us at 4:30 am with a smile and told us she had coffee ready for us and that she'd have a hot breakfast ready for us in couple of hrs. That was so comforting! We had been distraught from driving on the road for 14 hrs., most of which was on ice. Stormy had been working 20 hrs. straight but she still had a smile on her face and was so nice to us and to the many other travelers that managed to get to the hotel off the icy interstate. The hotel was booked solid. A couple of motorists that were stranded for hours in the frigid temperatures were picked up by the police and dropped off at this hotel. There were no rooms available, but Stormy welcomed them to stay on the couch in the lobby and kept the coffee pot full. At 7am we were awoken to a screeching fire alarm! We ran to the hall - a hotel representative was already in the hallway who told us there was no fire, it was just a water pipe busted. The pipe was fixed within just a few minutes. They had fans going to dry the water on the floors from the busted water pipe. We're impressed at how smoothly the situation was handled. At 9:30 am we went downstairs for breakfast and Stormy was working quickly to replenish the hot food. We all got to eat a big hot breakfast before heading out on the icy roads to get home. We just can't thank Stormy enough for making us all feel safe and comfortable when we needed it the most. If we were ever in a desperate situation again, we'd want this Stormy on our side! The HI Express reservation center made an error with my reservation but Mika solved the problem and was very accommodating. The hotel is located in a very convenient location, all of the staff were friendly, and they offer breakfast which includes hot items and very good coffee. I would definitely stay here again.
