But the service at THIS Holiday Inn was way above anything I could have imagined. From the moment we were greeted at the front desk, to the cleaning staff checking to insure we were happy with our room, and to see if we needed anything else, everything was first class. Everyone went WAY above and beyond any possible job description. Good on 'Ya Show Low! November 24, 2014

After traveling most of the day I arrived at the hotel hoping to simply find the bed and relax for a couple of hours before going to sleep. I didn't have any expectations as I have had good and not so good experiences at other hotels. I usually rate the quality of the experience by whether there is a comfy bed and the room is clean, after all, I'm only staying one night and it's not for business. Well, let me tell you, I was in for quite a pleasant surprise. I arrived about 7PM, the front desk staff immediately stopped what they were doing and greeted me. As soon as they learned my name, they welcomed me and acknowledged that this was my first time staying at the hotel. The check in process was quick and very friendly. I went off to my room thinking how nice the staff is. I opened the door, turned on the room light and sat my belongings down on the bed. I looked at the night stand and noticed a handwritten note next to a few snacks. The note welcomed me and said that these snacks are just a little gift to make me feel comfortable (I hadn't eaten all day). It wasn't the size or quantity of the snacks that had been provided but rather the gesture. The pretzels, snack size Snickers and water felt more like a steak dinner at that time (remember it was a long day). The next morning housekeeping came to check on me, greeted me by name and asked if I needed anything. Wow! I left thinking, now this is the way you run a hotel. November 24, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellant Staff Had a great stay, the staff that I met there were all wonderful people. Breakfast lady didn't go a morning without asking if I needed anything else. Desk personnel were friendly and always polite. If I had any complaints it would be that this IS NOT a pet friendly hotel. Only sad part is I usually travel with my beloved pet who is a very important part of my family. Also hated that the televison defaults to CNN, HATE that channel. Give me FOX NEWS! November 17, 2014

The very few times there's been a small issue in the last two years it's always been addressed immediately. I travel up to this area every 3 to 4 weeks and always stay at Holiday Inn Express in Show Low because it's the best! November 16, 2014
