The employees were attentive and the room was comfortable. I had a refreshing nights sleep and a tasty breakfast in the morning.

This was our third visit to this Holiday Inn Express. The staff is always courteous and friendly. The rooms are clean, quiet, and the beds are always comfortable.

I've been staying at other brands lately and was here to keep my existing points. I was disappointed by the lack of electrical plugs and the difficult accessibility of the plugs that were there.
I was on a business trip and expected there to be a work desk in the room. Wrong.
While the front desk staff was friendly, they were not particularly responsive to handling problems.
I won't even mention my poor experience with housekeeping; it was that bad.
This may be a typical Holiday Inn Express but they are very far behind some of their competitors.

All in all our stay here was fine with the exception of two things, our 500 welcome points were not posted and the window in our room would not close completely.
The lady at the front desk was very cordial and greeted me as a Platinum guest. She asked if i'd like the welcome gift or the 500 points and I said points please. To date those points have not been credited. Typically they get posted almost immediately so maybe I'm just jumping the gun.
The second problem was that our window did not close all the way and would not lock. Since we were on the top floor I wasn't worried from a security perspective but the small gap did allow for some of the noise from the highway to filter into the room. Luckily it wasn't enough to cause a big problem. We did mention it to the front desk as we checked out.
Even with these couple of small things I'd still recommend this hotel and stay here again if we're in the area.
