Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient location We had to make a quick trip to Shreveport to see a family member in the hospital there. The hotel location was good - we were only a few exits from the hospital. The convenience of the highway made traveling in the area easy. There was traffic noise since the hotel was close to the highway, but it did not keep us from sleeping pretty well. The breakfast area was well maintained and the food was plentiful and good. The king bed was comfortable, and the shower was good too. We would stay here again if in the area. January 29, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bad smell, and worse night of sleep Walked into my room and it smelled like a fast food burger joint. After searching for the source of the strange smell, I found it in my microwave. A half-eaten cheeseburger was sitting in my microwave, and I had NOT stayed in this room the night before. I went back to the front desk to get a different room, which I was granted. I was also told I would be receiving AT LEAST 1,000 points toward my IHG account. Have not seen those, or been contacted about the situation. Topping it all off, the hotel is right off the Interstate, and all night I was woken up by the passing vehicles. I work in the area often, and usually stay at the other Holiday Inn Express in town, I'm not sure at this point I will ever be returning to this hotel. January 28, 2016

Room was clean and comfortable as you would expect for IGH brand. only issue was with the guest laundry room it was a mess from previous guests not cleaning up after them self's. The house keeping staff could have checked on it too. there couldn't be that many dryer sheets and lint on the floor from one days use. I will be back when I fly through Shreveport again. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty Room, Rude Staff and Lazy Room Cleaning I will start by saying I stay at several IHG properties every month and contrary to the normal, this one was exceptionally bad. The front desk lady was preoccupied and very rude. Her way of recognizing my IHG reward member level was to "congratulate me on being a platinum member" in a not so genuine tone like I won it in a raffle or something, which I am not! Almost every IHG hotel I go to thanks me for my brand loyalty and for being a Spire Elite member! From there it only got worse, as my room was very dirty! The trash cans were not emptied, the floor was not clean, some of the towels in the bathroom were very damp like they were put up used and wet, the shower was dirty and worst of all the bed had imprints where someone had previously been on the sheets and I know the sheets were not changed as there were hairs on them. I wasn't about to deal with the front desk lady again so I chose to just sleep on top of the sheets... I was very disappointed in this stay and I hope it was a one time deal and that no one else has a similar experience here. I will also say I did not intend on leaving this review, but when I recieved an email asking for my thoughts I had to be honest! January 16, 2016
