Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by probablynotagain poor amenities and lack of recognition
Upon arrival, was asked for company id to make sure i qualified for the room rate. was given my room cards with points and that was pretty much it. laundry room - only one washer functioning, other had note that said parts were on order and would be in shortly. my stay was over 3 weeks and washer was not working the whole time. dryers took more than 2 cycles thru to dry clothes which is a problem when more than one person wants to do laundry. to wash 18 minutes, to dry 1.5 hrs. ice machines were not working and soda machines were unplugged. not sure what was happening there, but i would definitely consider other hotels in the area before returning to this one. coworkers were at another hotel and amenities were much better, including snack bags to take to work as well as bottled water, etc.

Our family gathered in Sierra Vista due to a death in the family. The staff could not have been kinder and went out of their way to take care of our needs during our week long stay. The room was clean as always and the breakfast was good. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff who were just wonderful in every way and treated us like family.

I've stayed at this location many times over the past few years. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and professional. The rooms are very clean and the laundry is always "fresh". Parking lot is accessible and have never had a problem finding a space. Always feel "welcomed" in the breakfast room and the attendants go out of their way to make sure you get what you want. If they are out of something - the attendant is quick to offer up that they will bring more out. Pleasant experience and I would recommend to others.

My family and I stayed at this hotel in early January while moving to Sierra Vista. I made the reservation over the phone with the front desk and it was handled very quickly. When we got to our room the crib we had requested for our youngest was already setup with sheets and blanket, and a note from the maid that had sanitized it; a nice touch. We stayed at a Holiday Inn the night before in Albuquerque, NM that just provided a portable playpen that we had to setup, with no sheets or blankets.
The entire hotel, as well as the room, had a nice western/cowboy motif. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Overall it was a good stay and I would recommend this hotel.

I stayed at both the Candlewood Suites and Holiday Inn Express for nearly two months last year, and I have to personally commend both Jenny and James, two employees of the Candlewood hotel, for outstanding service while I was there. They both went above and beyond in ensuring my stay was as pleasant as possible, and without them I most certainly would have had a less pleasurable experience. They are truly exceptional employees, and I would stay again solely because I know they work there.

Both my wife & I are power wheelchair bound so we needed the bed lowered. This was accomplished before we arrived for our 3 day stay. We appreciate the staff following our directions which made our stay much easier with the lowered bed.. THANKS SIERRA VISTA STAFF!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ArmyPT Great for longer term stay (Business/Military)
I'm not sure if I hold the record for the longest continuous stay at a Holiday Inn Express, but I recently stayed at the one in Sierra Vista AZ for almost 6 months due to Temporary Duty Orders and I had a great stay. Norma Jean and her staff are very friendly and made me feel like family for my extended stay. The daily breakfasts and 24/7 coffee, business center, workout room, and wireless internet were all convenient. I found the rooms very comfortable and clean. The only downside was no kitchen (there was a small fridge and microwave# - But I got free breakfast and usually ate lunch and dinner out #or stocked my fridge with easy-eats). The best thing about my stay is that the staff signed me up for the rewards points and when I got home to WA I got a member card and when I logged into the website I saw that I earned some serious points that I can redeem for free stays at any Holiday Inn partner!
No complaints here - Nice people, clean rooms, hot showers, safe location.

The Holiday Inn Express in Sierra Vista always provides us with a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. We had a problem with the heater upon arrival and within the hour their efficient maintenance staff had the unit replaced. It is always clean, comfortable and relaxing. We will continue to stay at this Inn every time we visit Sierra Vista.

I had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Express in S.V. The staff helped me out when I was in a bind as the hot water was out at the fellow IHG hotel (Candlewood). They gave me a room for the week at the government rate. The staff was very friendly and personable. Jose in particular went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of and had everything I needed. Kudos to him!

We stay here a couple times a year when visiting family. I believe the best value in SV. Clean and modern with a friendly staff. All the basic amenities provided, including a continental breakfast.

Do not stay here if you have small children. They intentionally put my family in a room that was below standard and in disrepair because I had children. It also happened to be next to the fitness center of the hotel. The walls were paper-thin so when someone was running on the treadmill it woke us up. The staff was very friendly, so if you are single or have no children with you then it's not a bad place to stay. They allow pets, and are right next to the mall in Sierra Vista.
