Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Worst bed ever Mattress was so hard, felt like sleeping on a board. Most HIE have very comfortable beds. Stayed in this hotel last year, and same thing. Will try and remember to NOT do this again. People are nice, hotel clean, food ok. But if you can't sleep, the rest does't matter. They could use 4 inches of memory foam....to say the least... Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bad Experience We have stayed at several Holiday Inn Express locations, but this one should NOT hold the name brand. This must be an old bldg that was somewhat remodeled and breakfast - well, forget that! Front Desk - never did look up and greet us after we transacted the overnight stay. Not Good......but we did get a shower and some sleep except for the people on the 2nd floor around 3AM. April 18, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasant refuge from the road. We were very impressed with the Sikeston Holiday Inn Express. Our queen double room was nice sized and well appointed with comfortable beds. The refrigerator and microwave were a bonus. The bath was spotless with nice linens. Breakfast was great and allowed us to get on the road early (best biscuits and gravy ever)! Be sure to eat at Lambert's "home of the throwed rolls" just a mile down the road. April 11, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by The bed was not comfortable and the room stunck. I will not stay at this hotel again I try to stay at Holiday Inn Express and Comfort Suites. I travel a lot and normley these are the best places to stay how ever this one looks old needs lots of repair and the rooms stink and the beds was hard you want a good review then remodel it needs it bad. Also when i stay at a Holiday inn Expresss being a priority club member i usely get a bottlen of water and a small snack not here also there are cookies sitting where every one can see them not here that are sitting ni the breakfast lounge where no one can see them and by the time you find them they are gone so needless to say no I will not stay here any more. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice room-maintenance needs attention Room and facilities were of comparable quality of other HI properties and staff were very friendly. The conflict was that started as a slow tub drain with a note to maintenance via housekeeping, that was not acknowledged on one day, then a second note which was acknowledged but not resolved, then a third directly to the front desk-again without result. Resolution finally came with a comment to the dear young lady attending the breakfast service who was appalled at the lack of attention and personally followed up on repair; who I give great credit and wish good recognition and swift promotion to a position she well deserves. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff The front desk staff, especially Sue at check in (I believe that was her name) was very friendly, even after she had clearly had a difficult day. We held a nice conversation and it made me feel special. (Kinda cheesy I know, but still.) Also, the woman who was in charge of the breakfast the morning of Saturday, 3/16 was just lovely! She welcomed each guest, and asked how their morning was going. It was very nice. If I had to complain about anything, it was that our 6am wake up call came at 6:40. But really, that did not change my over all opinion of my stay. I have stayed at this hotel before, and will continue to do so. It's a nice stopping place between Wisconsin and Mississippi.
