We chose the hotel because of its rates and relatively close location to Glenwwod Springs. Although it is still a drive to and from Glenwood. The Hotel was greeting was fine, it was a nice and clean hotel, location is on the river which was great! But there is nothing else around the hotel. You have to drive to get anything that you think you may need.
The room was nice with just one issue, at night the room heated up and all of were sweating, i adjusted the thermostat and nothing happened. It made it really uncomfortable at night.
Would I stay the night again? Yes! overall it was a great hotel, Cookies were fantastic and overall it was a good time.

We loved staying at the Silt/Rifle Holiday Inn Express ~ this is a newer motel and has been kept up really nice. Their breakfast area is really nice with outside river front seating in warmer weather! It's a very relaxing place to stay well away from any major towns. We did hear the train and occasional noise from the interstate but it wasn't objectionable. Next time I will ask for a riverfront room.

As usual my stay at this motel was excellent. Staff goes the extra mile. I have a three year old daughter that goes with me. They are so good to her that she actually asks when she will see them again, (by name) (Cassie and Joe) after we get home. They even bake cookies for my daughter....seriously.
Anyway, very nice place and people.

Best value between Grand Junction and Glenwood Springs. I stay here often when I work overnights in Rifle. Very quiet all the time, friendly staff, heat/AC works very well. Internet access is fantastic after they upgraded to better provider. TV is OK, TVs are HD but no HD service.

Really a nice hotel. Very clean and well maintained with really nice staff. Well worth upgrading to a room with a view of the Colorado River. The Miner's Claim restaurant in Silt was recommended by the Desk Clerk. Now plan my travels through Colorado to stay at this Holiday Inn Express and eat at the Miner's Claim.

We had read on TA that this was a great place to stay. We had twenty hours of driving ahead of us to get home and this was the perfect place to start. We were greeted by a friendly and welcoming front desk clerk who up graded us to a river view room. We loved the room, it was very clean and comfy. We slept very soundly in a very comfortable king bed. We went for breakfast and we loved the quality and variety of the food offered. The coffee was hot and strong, the way we like it. We stayed in many HIE on our four week road trip, this was by far the best one with the best breakfast. We left feeling rested and nourished. We will be back.
