Stay here when driving through area, Joe used to be manager here , but now it is Adam and may we say he is an excellent choice for this well maintained property. The location is great, the property is well maintained, and he was a pleasure to deal with excellent personality, The breakfast, and room was very good and well maintained for cleanliness, we will make it a priority to drive out of the way to stay here, wished we could have stayed longer, keep up the excellent effort, well worth the extra effort. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by beds were clean. Arrived late, after driving 14 hrs. Got checked in, no luggage carts. Went to front desk, said she would look around for one. Never saw her leave the front desk so lugged everything up to third floor. Came back down she was out taking a personal call. Kinda peeved me off. Went down next morning for breakfast, barely anything stocked. What was stocked was cold. Biscuits were stale. Breakfast made three of us sick. Went to pool it was shut down water was murky. Hot tub was available but was so hot I couldn't handle being in it. Took kids up to room to play in tub, tub stopper broke wouldn't hold water. Will not stay here again. If u don't mind all that, then the views are great! July 15, 2014

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay and would certainly recommend it to anyone who might be considering an overnight. We loved the serene river running right behind the hotel, which made for a lovely breakfast experience. July 15, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Location!! Most of our activities were in the Glenwood Springs area but we opted to stay in Silt and I am so glad we did. It was definitely worth the extra 20 minute drive to get to some peace and quiet. The atmosphere was great, room was perfect and we had a room right on the river! I will definitely be back!!!! Our stay began by having to be moved from our original rooms to accommodate other guests during an especially busy holiday (The 4th of July). I was able to keep my executive king room, however my daughter and her family as well as our invited guests were upgraded to a corner-room, jacuzzi tub, king bed suite with balconies and a Colorado River view. This was asked of us by staff member Trisha a day in advance by telephone and the results were much greater than expected. There was some confusion about the breakfast service hours and this was perhaps due to the holiday - however the problem was resolved expertly by the breakfast attendant and Trisha (again). This stay was a get-away holiday for me and my daughter's family (and two of her friends) and we were all treated as though we had paid full price even though I used Reward Points for the stay. Thanks you!! I would like to say the the hotel might consider adding more chairs to their patio for the breakfast service - it's a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the morning and the view of the Colorado river and mountains.
