There is a lack of genuine intention for customer care in the Staff. The common areas are not clean. Cigarette smoke is everywhere. It is so much that non-smokers cannon even breath in the lobby, elevator or in the corridor. Repeated requests for a room- freshener wen in vain. No response. Parking is bad. I will not recommend this to another colleague.

I loved the pillows and pillow cases. They were about the best things about my stay. The pillow cases were white, new or freshly laundered and were labeled with soft, firm, etc. The pillows were the best part of my stay.. The rest of the bedding looked threadbare, worn and grayish instead of white and crisp. I was in town for a funeral, but nothing was comforting about that environment. From the parking lot(which was cold, dark and unsafe) to the front desk which was crammed into a corner with a door opening in front of it, the hotel was uncomfortable.. The price was outrageous and doesn't live up to the Holiday Inn name.

older hotel, it does not appear updates have been made to the interior since I stayed there approx. 20 years ago.
A lady running the breakfast area was very friendly and helpful.(Donna) She helped us figure out the Metro map and getting around the area.
The driver who shuttles from hotel to the metro station and back told us to call hotel when we returned to the metro station, some one would pick us up. The first time we returned we called the hotel and had to wait approx. 90 minutes before the shuttle came to pick us up.
The second time we were told the next shuttle pick up would be at the top of the hour. (Which would have been a 45 minute wait) So we walked to the hotel.
We met the shuttle driver at the hotel, he was on his way to pick up someone else at McDonald's next to the Metro station, we were not on his list to pickup.
We complained about this to the front desk, their attitude appeared to be unconcerned.
No mention checking in or out by the front desk that we were Priority Club members or if we enjoyed our stay and if anything was satisfactory. Not sure we got our points credited.
We will not be staying here again.
We will not stay there again.
