All aspects of our visit were outstanding.
Breakfast food taste could be improved upon. i.e. gravy.

As soon as I walked through the door the front desk was helping me. The paper work was already sitting and waiting for my check in. In just a few mins I had my keys and off to my room.

The staff members are friendly and I love the new breakfast room. One of the nicest I have seen at an Express Hotel. Lobby under renovation but didn't seem to notice

Needed to be in the area for a party. This location was great for us and easy to get to market and restaurants. The A/C worked perfectly, our room was nice and cool on check in, thank you.

this visit was the second time this month that we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Simi Valley. Our stay is always nice. The staff is friendly and property clean. It is 3 generations of women in our party that always rent a suite. They are roomy and comfortable. This is important because we travel with my mother who is in her 80's. Our visit was perfect until the last day. Due to construction they had to close the only elevator on the property. They gave their guest no notice. My mother had a hard time going up and down the stairs. It would have been nice if we would have known earlier, we could have checked out early or requested another type of room downstairs. When I went into the office to ask about the elevator being closed they really didn't seem too concerned about the guests who are elderly.
