Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staying in Slough Slough isn't rated by many people as the most exciting destination west of London, although Queen Victoria made her first train journey from Slough. However, the Holiday Inn Express in Slough can provide travellers with a comfortable 'bolt hole' when visiting the area. Despite the proximity to London's Heathrow Airport, the planes make no impact at all. However, it does help if you like trains! They pass the hotel day and night in my experience but aren't disruptive. November 24, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unclean and not a good value for money Very poor room quality. The AC was making Sound like a drilling machine. No choice of hot food for vegetarians. No change of sheets during the stay. No cover in the toilet sink, very unclean. November 24, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Hotel GREAT STAFF And SERVICE This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel in a month if you intend to travel to London, this is the hotel to stay at beside the hotel being of good standard the staff here really are great , friendly and very helpful we got there quite early but without any fuss gave us the room and there was no extra charge we then walked a few meters to the railway station and caught a train in to London . the trains are very frequent and you can buy your main line and underground all on one ticket and return trains run very late at night back all in all a very good hotel November 23, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient for a night The rooms are clean and have all the comfort you need. However, many customers are families with children and the hotel gets really noisy very early in the morning (the staff does not do anything about it). Moreover parking a car is very complicated. When you park your car at the nearby station car park you need to have coins or English credit card if the machine does not work (which is apparently recurrent) and the staff does not help at all (make change at the soda machine near the elevators...)
