Great location, right next to the train station, and easy to get to Windsor, and in and out to London. Room was spacious, especially after the shoebox in London. Staff were excellent, and it was nice as well to be able to sit in the bar downstairs and have a beer after a long day of sightseeing. The only downside for me was that there was no business centre where I can check in for my flight and print my boarding pass. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again.

Great location for legoland. Lovely staff and great room. Only down side was the air conditioning did not work and it was very hot so had very little sleep. We were provided with a fan and a cold bottle of water. This however did not help with the heat issue and we could not be moved due to being fully booked. When we asked for a discount on the room we were told that due to it being a weekend no one would be able to do that and the best thing would be for us to email when we got home.

We stayed at this hotel as we where going to Legoland in Windsor . We asked Aaron on reception , who was fab nothing was any problem for him, the best way to get there.
We went by bus which is literally 5 mins walk from the hotel and runs every half hour.
We then asked him about trains etc into London to see the sites he was spot on with the advice - train station is outside hotel.
The hotel was nice & clean bit hectic at times in the main entrance as there were several school parties there at the same time!
Breakfast was hectic as again the school kids hogged all the seats & would stay longer than was needed.
We would go back to this hotel as location was good for where we wanted to go(hopefully next time no school parties!)
Only other thing to mention is that when your sat nav tells you your destination is on the left YES it is down a dead end street we had several attempts before asking a local gentleman

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mattoboy Location, room and comfort.
Even with a GPS we found it very hard to find , we had to ask the other Holiday Inn in Slough for directions.
We reported the air conditioner in our room was not working , a staff member told us we had the wrong setting and she set the control and said will be alright in 30 minutes , after 40 minutes the room was hotter than outside ( the outside was 30 degrees) and was impossible to sleep my son wanted to go and sleep in the car.
I again complained to reception they raised the matter with the manager on duty, finally they changed the room about 11.20 pm.
The question is why as member of the IHG Rewards Club, I was given room 214 next to the railway and when they changed to room 701 was told it was a better room out of the noise from the railway.

We stayed at 7 other Holiday Inn properties during our recent trip to the United Kingdom. This was by far the most enjoyable property. The only downside--it was a bit more expensive than the other properties we stayed in.

Booked last minute. Arrived to a lovely reception from Aaron and suna. Both a credit to hotel. Room neat and compact. Everything for one night stay. Used bar £3,90 for pint, which did not think too bad. Good choice of breakfast, but would say breakfast staff bit frosty. No charge for parking so bonus. Slough train station adjacent for our trip into London. Overall an excellent choice. Good value for money. Only criticism is beds are not very comfortable, very hard. Would definitely book again.

Stayed only one night at this hotel but was very pleased. The service and the staff there was just perfect. Location was also very practical, next to the train and bus station and access to stores within a walking distance. Recommend this hotel!!!

Really enjoyed our stay.
The property is adjacent the rail station but it did not disturb us in the slightest.
Staff were pleasant too.
There is a huge Tesco very close by too which proved useful for us.

This was a great location, it was next to the train station. Everyone we tol where we were staying said, Slough ???? I can't believe you are staying at Slough. The room was clean and big enough, the staff was very nice. We thought it was great because we wanted a clean convienent place to stay, it could have not been better. It was great for trips into London and day trips away.

We stay 3 days, service was great, the bed is very comfortable, the breakfast very delicious.
The hotel have a near train terminal and some occasion you can heard the noise and we used the sofa bed it wasn´t comfortable.
The price is a little high if you compare whit the same hotel in US.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Amber791 Just OK
This hotel was difficult to find, and parking was at a minimum (and expensive!) The lobby/dining area was small, but clean. The dinner choices were somewhat limited, but the food was good (also expensive). Our bed wasn't comfortable (and the kids were on a pull out sofa which was even less comfortable). The staff, however, was friendly and helpful, and the free continental breakfast in the morning had some good options.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Shashy Great stay... Only a small 'but'.....
Thanks for the stay last week - hotel was compact and easy to find. Location in terms of the residential area wasn't very pitchuresque. And then when we couldn't get a parking space on arrival it didn't feel great!! However once in the hotel, staff were friendly, the room just fine and the veggie options for the 4 of us in the restaurant tasty. Very accommodating of our two children who felt at home quickly.
The 'but' was about the noise from the car park. We were just above the recycling/refuse area and for glass and rubbish to be disposed of at 6.40am was not a great wake up!! Similarly, other customers leaving, talking inthe covered entrance at 10.30pm so loud that it woke our kids and business folk leaving from their stay and chatting on the phone at 5.30am on Friday just took the edge off the stay. Not much you can do about noisy guest I know...

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Glenton Affordable quality
This HIE is located perfectly for visiting the surrounding areas of Windsor, London etc whether by car or train (station is next door).
The decor is good, modern and for what you pay the included breakfast is a nice bonus.
The staff on the front desk are very nice and attentive.
The parking on site is complimentary, but try to arrive early and secure a spot, as parking is limited and on a first come first serve basis.
Value is very good indeed - this is obvious when you see the amount of people (including coach parties) that use the hotel.
The immediate surrounding area looks a little daunting at first, but don't worry it's just that it's located close to industrial estates, that's all.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by cpaddington Not a Heathrow hotel
You advertised as a Heathrow hotel, however, you don't have a shuttle/bus that runs from the airport to your hotel. There is another Holiday Inn express in Slough that has a shuttle and the driver did not inform us that that is where we were being taken and not to your hotel. We then had to book a cab to get to you which was an additional expense.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by calewajam Great value and great base for sightseeing
We spent 3 nights in the hotel in may and found it an excellent base for Windsor and a trip into London.
The room was spotless and fairly well appointed a little bit cramped as we had the sofa bed out for the kids too.
We ate in the bar/resturant on he first night and the food was good value and the service excellent the staff seem to be really hard working as they looked after reception the bar and the resturant but were always happy to help.
Breakfast is quite busy go at 9.30 am it's less busy the choice was limited but more than adequate as offered continental plus cereal and some cooked items.
We parked on the car park 2 of 3 nights free but had to park at the train station the last night which cost £11 but was ideal as we left the car there the following day when we got the train into London paddington (12 mins) and the station is right next to the hotel and there is a tesco a short walk away.
All round a great stay thanks

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by paddagain Basic glitches
We checked in with 2 adults & 1 child. I asked if our room was ready? The receptionist said yes & gave us our room. When we got to our room, it was set up for 2 adults. The sofa bed had not been made + no bathroom linen. I went to reception to sort out this problem but the receptionist couldn't see my 'problem'. It was only when the manager intervened was it all sorted by him personally. No bacon at breakfast. Fruit juice machine, wrong labels on buttons. Wanted orange juice, pressed button, got tropical. Small basic errors which shouldn't happen.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Travellight124 2 Day Short Break
Excellent location - for London and Windsor. Got 2 night break for the price of 1. Booked 2 rooms, adjoining adequate for the whole family. Situated right next to Slough train station, access into London couldn't have been topped, although trains were noisy at times. Walking distance into Slough itself for shopping and eating. Pizza Express right across the road. Ate in the hotel 1 night which was ok.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by WOH1 Hotel overall
As a frequent Holiday Inn customer it disappoints me to say that this hotel does not deserve the Holiday Inn brand.
Admittedly only an Xpress but it is the most basic of those I have visited to date.
Do not set high expectations and you will not be as disappointed in the hotel as I was.
Location is Central - close to a the station and a Tesco Xpress.
The car parking is a nightmare - once you find the hotel - and the staff seem more interested in going home than serving customers.
Sorry - wish I could report differently but no - a sad experience.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CatherineS great staff and convenient location
I stopped here with y family for 2 nights. It offers free parking (on a first come basis), a breakfast suitable for those who prefer continental breakfast yet with the added bonus of sausage and scrambled egg for those who prefer something a little more substantial. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and polite and helping with their use of local knowledge. The great thing is the location for getting into Windsor and London via train and tube, as the hotel is literally meters from the Slough station, and at £2.30 return to Windsor was cheaper than parking and the trains are about 5 per hour. With this convenience, why bother staying nearer to the city centre with hotel parking charges and higher room costs and the hassle of driving closer to the centre. Will definitely use this hotel again and all for £60 for a family of 3 per night with breakfast.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by MinxyMoo Ideal location, great breakfast, not so good service
We have stayed at this hotel before and if I was basing this review on our previous visit I would have highly recommended, sadly not this time.
I found the reception staff not as welcoming as last time, poor knowledge of the car parking situation, 3 different reception staff told us 3 different things about the car parking ranging from £8 - £26. We were sat in reception at 11pm at night trying to organise parking and with young children this was not ideal. The whole point in staying was so we could have a relaxing night before our visit to Thorpe Park the next day. We found the bed very uncomfortable this time and the pillows, the air con very noisy, so we turned it off but then it was too warm in the room. I think the only positive was breakfast. There was a very good selection and both our families ate well to start our busy day, albeit tired from a poor nights sleep. Great location for Legoland and Thorpe Park. Not sure we would stay again.
