Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable, clean and functional room. The approach through a built up, high rise area is not the best and the huge amount of cars parked on the verges greets you. The car parking is terrible. Only 28 spaces for a big hotel. Some spaces taken by large vans! Had to park in nearby railway station for 2 nights which cost an arm and a leg. Reception area and staff were a shining light at this hotel in what was not a pleasurable visit. The rooms are comfortable, functional and clean. My room also had the spare bed (put you up) made up which meant I did not have a sofa. I was the only person in a room set up for 4 people. The pillows are marked with "firm" and "soft" but were all the same, hard. The noise from the main railway line was incredible, intercity 125 trains whizzing past. Not a lot the hotel can do about this, but should have considered this when building the hotel in this area. Would I return, no. A bad decision by IHG to be here. March 21, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Delayed check in. I have stayed at this hotel many times before andI have always been satisfied, but my most recent stay was disappointing. There was a delay at check in because my name was not on their system. Instead, they had the name of the other person who was sharing the room with me, even though my name was correct on my booking confirmation. The room was too hot even though it was March. The air conditioner seemed to blow out cool but not chilled air. Additionally, some of the breakfast items were not warmed up enough, the beans were about room temperature. Apart from these let downs, the hotel is very clean and modern, and it is fairly quiet. It is also in an excellent location. March 11, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not enough parking, terrible breakfast buffet I'll avoid this place like the plague next time I have to stay in Slough. On arrival the parking lot was full so I had to park somewhere around the corner at the railway station (have you ever tried to get there in rush hour?). The breakfast was poor (eggs overdone, sausages rubbery, no mushrooms or tomatoes, no chocolate spread, stale croissants). Luckily that only cost me £101,-. Next time I'm in Slough I'll stay somewhere else. March 10, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Don't stay in an even room number Quite possibly the worst stay in my life, this has to be the noisiest hotel ever, if you get an even room you are right next to a really busy railway line, impossible to sleep, so noisy even with the complimentary ear plugs. Staff fully aware of noise issue but unable to resolve... upgrade the glazing on the window for better soundproofing! There are much better HIE around, the T5 is infinitely superior thats where I'll go next March 10, 2015
