Good 1 nights stay before flight out of Heathrow airport. Hooper bus services to and from hotel to airport ok. Food basic but plenty to eat.
Signed up for a dinner package but was still charged for dinner on credit card. Did not recieve a final bill on checkout despite querying amount being deducted (nasty suprise when bill came through).
Hopefully sorted out for next statement.

This is the 2nd time now i have stopped at this hotel
Thw staff are very reliable and go out of there way to help the customer. Hotel is very very clean the breakfast is good all you need to get your day started.
The rooms are clean and tidy
The access to the hotel from the airport is normaly by yhe way of the airport hopper bus at £ 4.50 E/ W cheaper to buy a reurn ticket, Also if you are not in such a rush try to catch the no 81 bus from the airport alot cheaper and the bus stop is right outside the hotel as well
Overall i am looking forward to my next stay at this hotel later on in the year would recomed it

Our overall stay was good and would recommend, however here are our pros and cons. We choose this hotel cause it was good value compared to all other offers and we needed somewhere to crash out following our trip to legoland and visit to windsor castle next day. The reception staff was very helpful arranged parking space despite car park full.The bed was too soft and felt uneven, the toilet had build up of stain and limescale around the basin. At breakfast all was good except the apple juice was very badly mixed too much water!!. A light was faulty in the bath room. a tile was cracked on the floor, the grouts around the shower were dirty. This review is based on room 185 and my review is based on my experience from another holiday in express which was excellent.

I have unknowingly arrived(around 9:00AM) to the hotel a head of check-in time. I was asked to wait till 12:00PM. Staying in the lobby with two children after long international flight journey is a bad experience. I was not even offer water or coffee. My reservation was included for two days free breakfast and dinner but I was asked to pay 30 pounds for having a breakfast on the day I have arrived. Not even a single CSR came to us and offered anything while we are waiting in the lobby for about 4 hours. Finally, my wife got frustrated and talked to CSR and then they allowed me to check-in.

Clean and tidy, However after paying for parking deal which included free drink, arrived home from holiday to a letter from parking eye demanding £100 for parking I had already paid for.
Still awaiting out come from the hotel on the matter.
promised eary breakfast continental which never arrived.
Free drink selected brands only.

The hotel was nice and modern and our room was a lovely size but wasn't cleaned to a high standard it was very dusty and under the sofa bed needed hoovering as there was food under it! The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable! The hotel was ok for the money but was £10 to park and you don't find that out untill you have booked

I stayed here on the 17-18 August, and found the hotel to be perfect.
The two main members of staff, that I had contact with were; Osman and Desire. Both were polite, courteous, friendly, and very professional (Gold stars all round)
The breakfast, although it wasn't a 'Full English,' did what it said 'Break-Fast'. But for a free breakfast it wasn't bad
The only negative thing that I have to say, is not about the hotel, but the company itself, and their prices.

We booked one night before going to Legoland the next day (which was awful too but thats another story!) On arrival the lady at reception was very polite and helpful and recommended the Italian restaurant on site. Our room was a good size for a this type of hotel and clean and comfortable too. However, even with air con the room was still very warm at night. The Italian restaurant was expensive, my meatballs were OK but my partners grilled chicken and miniscule salad were a joke. My childrens portions were very small even for childrens portions. Don't bother, pop across to the M&S food hall at the garage over the road. However I would like to say that Omar was attentive, as was the restaurant manager.
The next morning we went down to breakfast with our two children. It was absolute chaos. A waitress told us to just try and grab a table which we surprisingly mananged to do even amoungst the chaos. It was a free for all, grab what you can, when you can. We had to wait for plates, then there was no knifes. People were pushing and shoving. The scrambled eggs were a solid block, sausages awful, I couldn't eat them. The beans were OK. In the end I stuck to the pain au chocolate which were disappearing very quickly, probably as they were edible. The queue for the toast machine was long and it just basically warmed the bread. The coffee from the machine was dreadful, I left it and went for tea.
The waitresses were unhelpful and uncaring but I can't say I blame them working in the atmosphere.
Thanks goodness we paid a offer price, I would have been extremely upset at paying more.
Never go to a Holiday Inn again.

We took advantage of a link with the Hotel and Star parking.
The rooms were clean and in good decorative order. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast offered a good choice, all included in the price.
There is a choice of dinning. We choose the Italian, the evening meal was OK at best. The price was reasonable and it was good to eat on site.
The car was left at the Hotel to be picked up by Star Parking. We used the shuttle to get to the airport £4;50 each, It took about 10 to 15 minutes. We were greeted at the airport with our car on our return. All when very well. I would use the service again.

What can I say, Staff were always cheerful and friendly.
The room was clean and tidy AND comfortable.
And with a breakfast thrown in well you can't complain.
If I was to moan about anything, it would be the price, but that is NOT the hotels fault

The hotel room was wonderfully comfortable, and very quiet. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food and service were excellent. The only negative was the hotel was so full, that in the morning, you couldn't get in the area where they served the breakfast. It was so over-flowing with people, we couldn't even get to the counter to get coffee. However, we got to the airport early and ate and had coffee there! So, this would certainly not put us off staying again.

Room was perfect, staff very friendly and competent. Breakfast was a bit difficult. Buffet area is too small for breakfast room capacity. Staff was bravely fighting an uphill struggle to keep supply and cleanness half-decent.

Worst customer service that i have ever seen.
Kept me in the lobby for 4 hours as i came early
To hotel.Suffered lot with two kids . Also charged 30 pounds for
Breakfast un stead of offering some curtusy service.did not even offer water while waiting on lobby with kids after long 8 hours journy from Chicago. I spoke with 3 help dedk persons and everyone is rude.
Never ever going to stay in any HolidayInn.

The Duty Manager, whose name escapes me, was most understanding with my payment. There was some issue with my bank cards (which I later found out was fraud protection gone awry) for payment for my account. The Duty Manager noted that I am a regular not just at ICHG (platinum elite) but at Hi-Ex T5 in particular. He not only allowed me further time to settle the account (which was overdue by at least a day), he asked if there was anything that he could do to help, perhaps in identifying banks in the local area.
Luckily I found alternative means of payment. The Duty Manager even allowed me a late check-out in order to be given time to settle the financial difficulties.
Each time I come to Hi-Ex T5, the staff are down to earth and friendly yet retain professionalism. The value is excellent, and the breakfast delicious. This is why I keep returning.

Stayed for 1 night before catching a flight from Heathrow back to the US. The location is about as far from Heathrow as you can go & still use the Hoppa bus. It's close to terminal 5 but if you are leaving from terminal 1 it takes about 30 minutes or more depending on traffic and makes one other hotel stop. The bus runs every 1/2 hour, begins early & runs late.
The longer bus ride was offset by the price which was less expensive than the other Holiday Inns or other comparable hotels. A great hot buffet breakfast was included.
The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was really nice with great towels. A few more TV channels would have been nice.

Got here with my family of 4 to get close to the airport terminal and a very early departure. I had to wait for almost 15 minutes during check-out as the front-desk guys was sleeping whilst the hotel fully completely unattended, this was at 3:45 AM. Guy came-out from an office half-slept and half-dressed speaking gibberish as he was half woke-up, did not offered me breakfast bags to take away (apparently is a complementary service). Complete lack of service and an utter failure towards regular holiday inn residents and a bad way to starting holidays.

We stayed here on the hotel and car deal. It was convenient to the airport- shuttle on time and easy journey. The service by the car company was excellent and our car was waiting on our return, therefore it was good value. Our gripe was the comfort of the bed!! The mattress needed replacing!- it was so soft , my husband and I just rolled into the saggy middle so not a good nights sleep. Would have been better with 2 single beds. Everything else was fine.

The room was modern, comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was more than just a continental, which was a pleasant surprise. However, I wouldn't bother with dinner on the premises, the menu was both limited and overpriced, when it came out there was always something wrong with it, the table next to mine sent 3 out of 4 of their dinners back. Service was also slow as there didn't seem to be any proper structure.
Overall a good overnight stop, but have dinner elsewhere.

Do not stay in Room 321 very very loud noise coming from plumbing in the bathroom which was on and off the majoirity of the night. Complained to the manager who subsequently gave me a 20% discount of a future one night stay however since I usualy book on the internet will probably never get to use this.

I was slightly disappointed about the distance of this hotel from T5; it isn't exactly 'door to door'. It is either £3.90 on a public bus or £4.50 on the hotel's bus. In my room there was a slight rip on my duvet cover and there was little storage for clothes. The bed however was comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast was very disappointing, with little choice of hot food and the 'fresh juice' was dire.
I was able to have two good nights sleep at this hotel.

a very great place to be close to heathrow airport/ beds were very uncomfortable and somwhat lumpy bat was ok staff was very nice and especially the up front des folks nice and helpful would stay ther again hopefully with new sleeping furniture.

We recently stayed overnight at your hotel, prior to early morning
flight. Very impressed with check in, room cleanliness and
facilities. We had a very enjoyable meal in Italian restaurant.
The Hoppa bus could not have been more convenient for Terminal 5.
We would certainly stay with you again and recommend you to friends.

Excellent stay staff were friendly and approachable, willing to help with any problems, got 5 star treatment at all times. Relaxing hotel for all ages as plenty going on, food was of a high standard would recommend to anyone and will certainly stay again.

Very easy to find - slightly cheaper due to the location however only took 10 minutes to drive to Terminal 1 - early hours of the morning! Clean and modern bedrooms, fantastic walk in shower - modern and clean. Check in staff efficient and knowledgeable - arrived after a 5 hour drive at midnight and was greeted with a lovely welcome and smile!
Will stay again when flying out from Heathrow.

We stay with holiday inn a lot and normally the beds are better than are own but unfortunately on this occasion it was very uncomfortable. You could feel the springs in the mattress. This was quite a disappointment. The room also had some sort of stain down the wall which needs to be sorted. Another down side is the £10 parking per night.
Other than that was a pleasant experience, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, good range to choose from. Great location for taking the kids to legoland.

The hotel felt new and was clean and very comfortable, even the sofa bed. Rooms were spacious, good bathroom amenities, staff were friendly, easy reach to airport. Highly recommended!
The Italian restaurant was a let down though, poor value with sub par quality food and slow service.

We stayed at this hotel while I completed my open water scuba course at wraysbury. The room was good and clean but the restaurant was poor, for dinner we had ordered steak which should have come with chunky chips but what turned up were soggy skinny fries I had also ordered onion rings which turned up after I had eaten half my meal and only after asking the waitress where they were. Also the meal was spoilt by the fact there was a children's play area next to the restaurant with a computer game screen with the volume turned up. The cooked breakfast choice was very poor with only scrambled eggs, beef sausages and baked beans offered.

the hotel was nice, the carpets were clean, the bathroom looked brand new, the bed was comfortable, the staff were pleasant, there was offsite parking available, there was a petrol station across the road which was handy and the hotel was very easy to get to.

We just had an overnight stay here it is good value for money, however we found the mattress on our bed didn't allow us a good sleep as it was way too soft which meant we kept rolling into each other. We only had 4 hours to sleep that night before setting out for our next flight so would have liked a comfy bed. However it was clean, staff were polite and helpful and it was good value for money
