Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Third stay This HIE is now our first choice when we need to overnight en-route to Heathrow. It is comfortable, quiet & clean, and the inclusive breakfast is very good. Our only gripe are the charges for wi-fi and car parking, these should be free for hotel guests.Since staying here we have stayed at 3 different HIE in the USA and parking and wi-fi have been free at all of them. One warning--DO NOT TAKE A BLACK CAB FROM HEATHROW. TAKE THE HOPPA BUS. It's only 2 miles and the cab will charge £40. It's a rip off. May 21, 2013

It's a great place to stay even if you are not flying off anywhere. We chose this hotel as our base for a weekend in London and found it worked really well for us. Thank you! May 19, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Small problems The luggage trolleys are like Supermarket trolleys and it is very difficult to hold open two(2) fire doors as you try to access the elevators! (They wont stay open at all) My reservation said 'free wifi' but the Receptionist wanted to charge me for the password - got it free after complaint but unsatisfactory service. May 17, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by You always know what you are getting from a Holiday Inn Whenever possible I use Holiday Inns for business purposes. You always know what you are getting with friendly helpful staff, a clean and comfortable room and relaxing surroundings. This hotel was no exception and I have now used it for both leisure and business. It is in an ideal location and despite its close proximity to Heathrow Airport is relatively quiet. Plenty of choice for breakfast and good food in the Italian Restaurant. This hotel was a lot better than more expensive hotels that I have recently stayed in. Great value for money April 29, 2013

Great breakfast selections,food was fresh and the tables were cleaned promptly. Great value and the location was perfect. We stayed a week and used it as a base of operations for day trips throughout southern England, from Bath to Dover. Easy on the major roads from the hotel and a 24 hour gas station with a better than average selection of foods and snacks across the street. Rooms were quiet, bathroom shower was amazing. Storage space is a problem. Only about 12 inches of hanging rod for cloths and a few very small draws. April 23, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Windows do not open Nice hotel, but it seems that modern building rules mean that room windows cannot open (not sure why it is a rule). Room was airless and aircon not cool. From now on, when making a reservation at any Holiday Inn, I will always check the IHG website to see if windows can open. If not, I will not stay at that hotel. April 16, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable room, location not so good Overall pretty good.. Staff were efficient though understanding the English was not easy. Booking in took far longer than normal, not sure why. Rooms were clean and comfortable, Breakfast was good, though when busy the tables were not cleared fast enough and breakfast items, scrambled eggs and sausages were not renewed when they ran out. Apart from a girl cleaning the breakfast tables, and a a young man at reception, though polite non of the staff smiled. Car parking was also 33% higher than the reservation notice told us, so a bit of a surprise!! You also have o pay for Wi-Fi, not many hotels do that. Still after all of this it was at a bargain price, so really can't complain April 12, 2013

My usual gripe with Holiday Inn is that WiFi is not free in an age when it is even available in Macdonalds. Flew to Turkey, where WiFi was free in the hotel. April 6, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent hotel for using T5 I chose this hotel as I was flying from T5. The hotel is situated 5/10 minutes away so had easy access. I also used the 'park and greet' service which worked out really well. Well worth the money and a good option for leaving your car. Took the hotel bus to the airport which ran every 1/2 hour. Was £4 per person - tickets from the hotel reception area. As I landed my car was dropped in the short stay car park, level 4. The hotel was very good. Clean and well kept. We used the pizza / pasta restaurant which was very good quality and excellent standard of food. The staff could not have done more to make us feel welcome. Overall, an excellent choice for what we needed. Would definitely use it again. April 3, 2013

Staff exceptionally helpful, and so we had no real problems at all. Would not hesitate to recommend this HI which is just a few minutes drive from the Terminal 5 itself April 2, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly service - terrible mattress We stayed for one night before catching a flight from Heathrow. Customer service was great - very helpful on the front desk. Room was very clean and smart. Bathroom also clean and modern - lovely big shower. Breakfast was good with an adequate choice. Unfortunately, the mattress was terrible, perhaps it was me, but I'm not used to being woken up by mu husband turning over or myself for that matter. It was a very uncomfortable night. Nevermind. Parking ok although nearly full. Next time we'll eat in the evening there. Rooms fine quiet comfy all very good. Check in and out very efficient too. Kids happy too so that's a + March 29, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by nice stay It was a nice stay in between the flights. The hotel is conveniently located close to Heathrow terminal 5 with a regular shuttle services. It has a feeling of being recently renovated and has a fresh feeling to it. The room was of a comfortable practical size with a good decor. The hotel is run nicely and efficiently. The reception staff was professional and helpful. It was a nice touch that breakfast was included into the room price. The only suggestion I would make is to give a better direction how to get to the hotel using the hotel shuttle service from Heathrow 1-4 and and Heathrow 5, maybe by including it into he hotel confirmation e-mail. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Credit on account I had to go back to the desk 3 times to get credit turned onto my account. This was inconvenient and frankly embarrassing when I'm at the bar and the tender says i have no credit. I also had a problem finding my room. I was in 126 and the girl at the counter directed me to the rear lift incorrectly. The signs on the floor were confusing from that point. When I went back down she told me the same thing. Finally we figured it out that it was the front lift we should use. March 27, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by not near terminal5 Meanwhile the hotel was typical - the hotel is nowhere near the airport - it cost us €4,5 each to catch a bus and a 10 minute ride to take us to the hotel. In the publicity this was not mentioned which in our case added time and expense to our visit. Next time we would choose a hotel nearer to our destination. We then had to take a taxi the next morning (another 15 mins) to pick up our hire car. The hotel was not near to Terminal 5 and the name is misleading. March 26, 2013

It is always very clean & tidy. It is easy & quick to get in & out of the car park, but there is a charge for this. Breakfast is good, choice & quality. On checking out this time there was a delay & I had to ask the lady to get more help, otherwise, very good. March 23, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Nice place Hotel was easy to find and check in, nice and professional looking, however the wireless Internet service is very patchy and over-subscribed with lots of packet loss resulting in VPN/RDP dropouts at best, to web pages failing to fully load at worst. Skype video calls are completely out of the question. Room and bathroom was good quality, however the shower wasn't very powerful although is economical. Otherwise service was very good and efficient. March 19, 2013
