IN my experiences- They are so kind and caring.
Front personnel - Chris-, Erin and others - caringly friendly.
Other than that a hotel is a hotel adequately clean- nice pool - little continental breakfast-
the only issue I have - is the computer room or business center - I understand at some point it will be updated - I have lots of suggestions if anyone wants to know- like short people need seats that raise to the keyboard or a keyboard draw that slides out to proper level of height and Business quality printer/fax machines- business cards placed by computer for people getting directions and needing exact address- I know the cost is sooo very high for fast internet connections - but especially near airport- this Express hotel- can warrant a need. that light set on movement -keeps going off while seated at computer. Well you get the idea -

We have stayed here many times over the years when visiting family from out of state. We have always met with friendly, courteous staff ready to help make our stay more enjoyable. Whether it be asking for directions, a restaurant recommendation, or something to do with our room or guest services, the staff is always very pleasant and ready to accommodate.
The rooms are always clean, the beds and pillows (with choice of firmness) are very comfortable. The breakfast room is bright, pleasant and clean and a newspaper is provided daily.
Over the years the consistency has never changed, even when staff changes. When we have more of our family with small children staying there we have enjoyed using the pool as well.
On our most recent stay, we needed to leave earlier that we planned do to a medical emergency. In the turmoil my husband dropped his wallet and we had to come back to look for it and the room had just been cleaned. Housekeeping was called and the cleaning staff was already on her way to the front desk with it. This save a lot of anxiety at a time when we were ill prepared for the extra stress. I have left things in hotel rooms over the years and even called very quickly hoping to get it returned. This is the first time we had success.
I highly recommend this particular hotel and staff.

Asked not to put hold on card, and hold was put on card. Should have been explained that there is no way of doing that once card is given to hold room. Money takenout and insufficient fees charged.

As a newer member of your loyalty club I purposely choose a HI Express for my stay in the PVD area. I understand that an "Express" product means no restaurant or bar and it means possibly a isolated location. Not having a refrigerator or microwave available in the room is inexcusable. This is standard with your competitors. Room need refreshing too

This hotel was wonderful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. All of the staff was extremely helpful. The shuttle drivers were courteous and had great suggestions for restaurants.

As soon as I walked in, the staff at the front desk were very accommodating...they checked me in early and even waived the ＄20 incidental fee b/c my card couldn'to cover it at the time...the room was very clean and the cleaning staff were hospitable...I liked the free TV and Wi－Fi connections...The coffee maker was easy to use in the morning and the complimentary breakfast was delicious! The free shuttle to the Crowne Plaza Hotel was timely and very convenient! I would recommend this hotel to friends and family! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Great location, wonderful staff, comfortable beds and pillows, and a fantastic breakfast. Have stayed many times to catch a morning flight back to San Diego. I can always count on this HI Express for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Airline sent my bags to the wrong city. Your front desk staff went above and beyond to help with a bad situation. she called the airline and tracked my bags to see that they where delivered to the hotel. Great service by staff many thanks.

The good.... clean, pretty, comfortable...in fact the bed was extremely comfortable, staff was wonderful and responsive to kids running up and down the halls.
The bad ...booked a weekend when a youth soccer tournament moved into the hotel. BTW... it is what it is...I should have asked.Once we got through the late afternoon and early evening and the staff hunkered down and put security on every floor, the kids quieted down. Can't really blame the kids ....weekend travel with their soccer buddies is exciting and fun. FYI... the girls where the worst offenders.. the boys just liked playing with the elevators. Pool and exercise room..forget it....just kept away from it as it was loaded with wet bathing suits, towels and flip flops. Let the soccer parents deal with that. Breakfast...full of hungry kids, decided to go out to a restaurant. Sorry, I just love a nice , quiet breakfast.
The ugly......NO HOT WATER!!!!!!! Not even warm.

Every employee at the front desk was extremely friendly, helpful and curtious. The shuttel service is certainly a big benefit - worth advertising. They took me to the restaurant / airport / and meeting facility.And always with a smile!

My husband and I stayed the night in a room with a king size bed and a pull out couch. It was just the two of us. Very spacious and clean. The breakfast was good. They had a special pancake machine. My kids would of loved it. It's nothing fancy but for the price including breakfast it is a good deal. We didn't use any other facility.

I was in Rhode Island on a short vacation. I decided to book a couple nights in Warwick, RI. The hotel staff was nice and courteous. I was recognized about my IHG membership. The staff helped me with finding activities and places to go. I had a great stay. I would have liked a few different choices each day for the hot breakfast bar, but the breakfast was still good.

My whole family members brought their own wifi devices: smart phones, laptops, tablets.
We were in trouble with the slow internet speed through wifi.
The bandwidth of wifi/Internet connection should be increased.

We checked into the room and it was smokey, we let it go however, that night my mother was trying to fill te tub and could not. I spoke to a agent who said they would note It. I slept On the sofa bed And it was horrible and requested to be moved. The agent said they would work on it however, we weren't moved. I asked for a cot and after the second time asking, i received it w/ no bedding at all. And the person who brought it didn't seem to think this was strange. I was so tired of going to the desk for things that I just slept on it. Very unhappy with service.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on a Saturday night and then the following Friday night, while flying in and out of Providence for a leaf-peeping trip. Because the weather was mild, I put my winter coat and a jacket in the closet and then forgot them when we left to drive up into Vermont and New Hampshire. I called the hotel on Monday morning; Housekeeping had them and kept them for me until we returned the next weekend. Fortunately, I didn't need them on the trip! I was so grateful to them for keeping up with them for me. I think they did an excellent job, and we will stay there in the future, I'm sure!

As a platinum member, I get to stay at many properties. This hotel did an exceptional job of taking care of me. The staff was friendly and check in was fast. I was treated well. They did a great job of explaining the hotel to me and answering my questions. When I found my air conditioner not working right, they had a service technician there in just 2 minutes to fix it, even though it was late in the evening. I had a great stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This was one of the better Holiday Inn's that we have stayed. The staff was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The only thing that I say that is not a positive comment is the pillows are uncomfortable

We were looking for a last minute getaway to the Providence area for a family trip to the Jack-o-Lantern Spectacular at the Roger Williams Zoo. This hotel was very convenient, only 5 minutes away, from the zoo. It was clean and family friendly. We stayed in a King Suite which was the perfect size for our family of 4. The price was reasonable and I feel I got my money's worth. Great breakfast was included with our stay. The kids loved swimming in the pool and my achy bones appreciated the hot tub. For an "airport" hotel, it was very quiet, no air traffic noise. I would definitely stay there again!

Hotel is large and of older style. To be in it's class it will need a fundamental overhaul. Business center essentially is defunct. That in itself is not so important, but symptomatic. A flat screen TV does not make you up to date.
Staff is friendly and very helpful.

This was our fourth stay at this hotel; all have been great ... good value for the area. Located only a short distance from the exit of the airport parking garage that houses several of the major auto rental firms, when traveling with grandchildren or several pieces of luggage, it's more convenient to take the hotel shuttle from the airport to the hotel, then one person walks to the garage to pick up the rental car. I'm sure the hotel will also provide transport to the garage, but at less than 1/4 mile, it's almost quicker to walk.
Too, on this stay, we were in between a road vacation and a cruise. We asked about and were directed to a Laundramat that was clean and reasonably priced; a big help in an unfamiliar area.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. They shut off the water and did not notify the guests so had to go to a meeting unshowered. Also requested same day laundry service and my laundry was not returned in the same day. Since I only stayed two nights I had to drive back 2 hours to get it the following day. Very inconvinient. Overall I was not happy with the experience. If you want same day laundry service, dont stay here because they do not provide what is promised.

This hotel is awesome...and it starts with the staff.
I left my iPhone charger in my room during my last stay two months ago. Housekeeping tracked it down and delivered it to my room. I wish I knew the lady's name, she went above and beyond!

I try to stay at this location whenever I visit Providence, RI. The prices are reasonable, rooms very nice and the staff very helpful. The complementary breakfasts are reasonable and adequate. For dinning there are many good locations within a 5 to 10 minute drive.
