Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Set into a hill, quiet and comfortable Room was on the small side but comfortable. Windows took up an entire wall, it was a terrific view but still dark enough to sleep well at night. Someone finally realized it would be a good idea to put some outlets (even 2 usb!) on the nightstands! Getting to the 5th floor was awkward as the main elevator doesn't go all the way up, you have to shift to a back elevator which feels/looks/sounds like it is 50 years old. Indoor pool was large and very nice looking. September 19, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Relaxing,, Friendly atmosphere A great get-away weekend to relax. Staff was extremely friendly and courteous. The bed was very comfortable and allowed for a good nights sleep. Checkout was easy. Location was great to Church Street, UVM and many other areas we wanted to visit. Close proximity to many excellent restaurants. September 18, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay Upon arriving at the HIEx I was greeted by the front desk in a very friendly manner. I inquired about the shuttle and asked directions to the location where I needed to turn in my rental car. All questions were answered with a smile, and a map for directions. The shuttle picked me up at the rental car location and returned me to the hotel. The next morning I received my wake up call on time and was shuttled to the airport in a timely manner. The room was comfortable and quite clean. I would not hesitate to stay in any Holiday Inn Express due to my experience in S Burlington. September 15, 2014

The little additions like the Keurig coffee makers and the bedside USB/AC power charge stations are the type of improvements that I do not expect in an Express, but they happen at this one. No matter who is working, a new person or a long time staff member, the service is always top drawer! No request is a problem, and no problem cannot be resolved. September 13, 2014
